RE: What are you working on? - J.E_Magog - 12-18-2009 That's quite a marathon you've shown us! I think Goay has a picture of that. RE: What are you working on? - J.E_Magog - 12-27-2009 The Nineball kuba. RE: What are you working on? - Fox - 12-28-2009 Cool! That additional torso extender kinda makes NB Seraph look like Jehuty. RE: What are you working on? - Lord_Leperman - 12-28-2009 Nice, looks like a ground "runner" version :p Hope it can twist its torso after adding the lower chest armor. I can't see it properly, but can it retract its torso at will or is it already permanently hunched like that? RE: What are you working on? - J.E_Magog - 12-29-2009 Hehehe the torso is already straightened to the limit. Without the mods the curved spine forms a C-shape. Hopefully he'd look more straight once the finished torso is in place. But I'm afraid this mod is making him too anthropomorphic. RE: What are you working on? - isburai - 12-30-2009 MG Exia Ignition mode i used tamiya spray cans, blue for the blue parts, and light gun metal for the internals, then top coated it with tamiya clear flat to remove the glossyness (is that a word? haha.) of the paint. for the white parts i used pylox white flat. RE: What are you working on? - isburai - 12-31-2009 a little progress, same process as the one i mentioned above, sand, paint, then top coat. this is the GN-Sword in the making. no flat coat yet. tenen!! flat coated. RE: What are you working on? - Fox - 12-31-2009 Question - what did you use for the blade of the GN Sword? RE: What are you working on? - isburai - 01-01-2010 sir fox, if you're referring to the pics above, i used light gun metal then top coated it again with clear flat, tomorrow i'll post pics if i finished the GN Sword. RE: What are you working on? - isburai - 01-02-2010 here's the finished GN-Sword and the GN-Blades. the white particles you see there are dust.. so fast.. tried it with flash GN-Blades,i lost the handle on the short one. RE: What are you working on? - Fox - 01-03-2010 Beautiful! Can't wait to see the finished product! RE: What are you working on? - isburai - 01-03-2010 thanks fox! (^^,) actually i just finished the whole kit but no decals yet, for the mean time, here's the GN-Shield first. closed open RE: What are you working on? - Trace-02 - 01-07-2010 That EXIA's progress is going pretty well, isaburai. maybe a little bit of mark softener on the decals will make it look better? Just a suggestion. My current assignment: Noblesse Oblige The pictures feature the kit in partial/full assembly but I've actually painted most of the solid color parts (except for the black parts) already. I'll post pics of the painting process tomorrow. Beside Fei Yen and my other unpainted ACs. (Fei yen is 1/100 scale btw. Cute kit is cute~!)This Hogire Unit is much larger than the previous AC kits I've assembled. Size comparison with a 1/100 RX-78 One Year War Anime colors ver. Fei Yen Cute pink. :3 |
