@Lord_Leperman

Stuff like this can just as easily classify as current events and news, or relationship issues, or tech or medicine. Topics that I would like to point out we have also discussed in-depth in the threads, and nobody seemed to mind discussing them.

Quote:Ever tried posting about Armored Core on the FF general discussion forum and see how many actually care? I wonder how many people in the FF forum truly understand the significance of the ANANDA radiator, and how central it is to designing a combat-worthy AC. Or maybe how the LORIS arms are unbalanced? Maybe they understand what we mean by a "Broken" design... I seriously doubt that anyone there will even care one bit.

Actually, I have. I've tried introducing the game to them, and I'm happy to say a couple of them are getting pretty interested over the depth - FF's got a lot of robot and sci-fi fans apparently. They don't mind discussing video games indepth either - some of them are pretty privy to RPGs and strategy games. Provided that it's relegated to the proper thread, which I think is what the issue here is.

And if I may make an observation, RR's threads are divided up such that we have several forums dedicated just to Armored Core, but our members are just as often as likely to comment in MR, the News thread, and Project WTF - all of which barely talk about AC.

Quote:You really need to clearly distinguish the two, and keep in mind that people will largely not care about the things that you care about.

Likewise - if people don't care for what I say, they don't have to read it either. They are well within their rights to skip over them.

[quote]An occasional rant is fine, but really that's quite you've unloaded over the past few times. Keep it in check and don't make it sound like an alarm button is pressed, it does not fit RR's laid back atmosphere.[quote]

Understood then, I'll keep it in check. Sharp, witty sarcasm seems to be more in fashion anyway Wink

In any case, the LGBT topic's already got its own thread, I'd rather not have this fracas get dragged on any further, and I certainly don't want to make any enemies out of my friends here, and I've got more than enough domestic problems to lose sleep over.

Peace?

Rant: Had my head shaved again. Holy shit - my scalp's gotten polished enough to literally reflect a laser beam Sad

RE: Mental Repository (M.R.) - Fox - 02-14-2011

It's past three in the morning at the nightshift here at work. Not much calls coming in. Five people on duty and each one doing their own thing. I've got everything a man needs to stay awake - caffeinated beverages, a fully-charged PSP, an external hard drive loaded with all sorts of media and, most important of all, over 80mbps of unblocked internet access. Woot

None of it is working. Glare

RE: Mental Repository (M.R.) - Hempire - 02-14-2011

Ok people let's chill....

Haven't done the herb propaganda dumping like I used to. *I think I have done enough HERBAL infusion in the RR hivemind but I think more wouldn't hurt now would it?* O------(O___O)/

2nd vid would be so applicable to the Philippines. However, it is still in its infant/retarded stage when it comes to anything HEMP related that would benefit its masses which are oblivious to such a thing. =/

It's cool. Tongue I plan to visit this week, btw if you're home. Prolly Wed or after.

I'm not mad and all, you guys know me. I'm just sayin' because things are starting to get out of hand, but otherwise things seem to be back to normal.

I know that all of you are tsundere for each other. Tongue

@Hemp: i don't want to build a house like that... If a fire starts in the neighborhood, firefighters will not finish their job... or at least do it much more slowly. LOL

RE: Mental Repository (M.R.) - Shintetsu - 02-14-2011

Glad to see how everything got settled. I tried to post about it, and I learned a lesson from it(before most of you saw).

It's at moments like this in the Justice League when Batman shines the best. Y'all know who our Batman is. lol

Rant: I do however agree that yesterday was the most tsundere(more tsun) day of my fcking life. I punched my keyboard yesterday like an MMA fighter. It's broken now.

RE: Mental Repository (M.R.) - maitreya - 02-14-2011

The battery of our car blew up. Good thing it happened at home, and while at a standstill.

Looks like there was only minimal (if ever, no) damage done to the engine (no, the car didn't burst into flames, or something like that) -- since it ran smoothly after replacing the battery, and after having the technician check the car's electrical charge. You'd expect acid melting the engine area, but it was mostly paint forming (at least from what I observed).

Prolly have a second opinion to the extent of the damage, but what still baffles us is that the battery blew up. Looks like it dried up inside, but dried up car batteries aren't supposed to explode; just stop working.

RE: Mental Repository (M.R.) - Lord_Leperman - 02-14-2011

Sounds like the time my car's radiator blew up, spewing melted plastic all over.

Keep the drama off of our little haven on the internet.
