Agreed. From PLDT, I tried Globe for a month and switched to PLDT as soon as the plan ended because our net speed was almost like fucking dial-up. NiX, on the other hand has enough speed and bandwidth for pr0n and stuff.
Rant:
Fucking visitors can't do shit because they're all full of shit. The whole family took a dump on our bathroom (one at a time) and all of them didn't even bother flushing it. I had to keep flushing every time I had to piss since I drank too much water at that time. The last shit was a bit oversized too.
Well at least they're gone right now. I still need to cover my nose whenever I need to go though, since the radiation is still there.

Leon, Globe's uptime is pretty consistent for me both in Alabang and Makati. Problem is that the latency doesn't seem to be that good for gaming.

Rave: My world is mine miku wallpaper got displayed accidentally because my laptop got borrowed by a prof to use for powerpoint. This was the animation block so a lot of them knew who Miku was. Some did ask why she was in white though
After the class, a korean guy who doesn't really talk to anyone at school (otaku I guess?) approached me and asked if I wanted to trade anime stuff/pix. I gave him whatever I had here (sankaku galleries and artbooks) and he gave me 650mb worth of assorted HENTAI AND DOUJIN in exchange!!!

Beware the long Rant: Mom gets angry that I'm so preoccupied with my writing when she's asking me to do chores.
The problem is that it takes a lot of energy for me to brainstorm an idea, and when I'm about to put it into words, she seems to pop up at the worst possible moment to either borrow my bloody laptop to check her FUCKING FARMVILLE and other dumbfuck facebook games for "a few minutes as she calls it." She then plays for about 40 minutes or so, by which time my idea is long gone T_T
If not that, it's either her having a spurt of the moment idea to make me go on chores or errands, and throwing a hissy fit if I don't haul ass, and calling me useless. Well I'm not the one who spends most of the day updating some retarded Facebook game.
Today it was chores, and when I finally sit down to try to finish the RR Analogs article I've been putting off due to other pressing engagements , we end up having this really retarded argument about Gatorade, since I was having the runs.
Long story short, she's angry that I had to pick late afternoon about the Gatorade, as our driver is about to head out, when she was the one that asked me in the first place if I wanted the driver to pick up anything on the way home. Then she gets angry when I tell her I didn't want to spend money on a bottle of Gatorade, since I'm low on cash, then she rants about how me and my brother seem to be able to save up money for video games, but not for a bottle of Gatorade.
Then she rants about why I'm writing an article when I don't earn money, and I tell her it's for practice. Then she tells me just to put it off. I tell her that the problem with interruptions is that they ruin my trail of thought, and that I just want to be left alone when I write.
She throws another tantrum, throws my oatmeal boxes around, leaves the house, and tells the helpers not to prepare anything for dinner, and to kill all the lights. How the fuck do I deal with a stupid, self-righteous hypocrite who thinks that she's always right, and whose answer to any attempts at a discussion is throwing a tantrum, and the closest object she can get her hands on?

@ twin-skies. chill man, the only thing that will get her to lay off your back is to just go with the flow. have you pondered on why she acts this way?
my mother got addicted to farmville too...and the reason? She's lonely. in facebook she can be someone else, someone who owns a farm and harvest things. she's sorta like those ronery guys who play videogames all day but are too old to get into newer more complex games--hence farmville or poker. it could be that she can only connect with old friends through FB and she doesen't see them in RL anymore. also, she could have been just really tired with work and was expecting a bit of appreciative vives from her sons by making you buy something for her. she may not have even meant it that she screamed at you and threw a tantrum. throwing your cereal boxes around means she still loves you enough to not just stick a knife in you because she thinks you're being a fucking dick. i know that you love writing but sometimes you have to give a little. she raised you man, if she were to go about asking you to pay back every cent and sweat she put in taking care of you--FUCK that's a whole lot.
and in criticising your writing habits, well, maybe she just wants a little attention because...erm..she's lonely?

Rant: Teachers that make entire tests out of nothing but identification and memorization are lazy.
Everyone knows that after the test, the students are just going to forget what they learned anyway -_- You need to test by using real world application of what was taught and not verbatim memorization.
Even my teachers know it, because I've been quite vocal about not wanting identification exams. I'd much rather do math/problem solving or essays. One of them even apologized to me and said I was going to hate him for the exam (he's around my age or a little bit older I think) -_-
