I just finished eating dinner and I think I took in around 3 pounds of beef and pork XX

RE: The General Fitness Thread - Mjting - 12-24-2009

RE: The General Fitness Thread - Serene - 12-25-2009

Don't just walk though. Walk like you're going somewhere.

RE: The General Fitness Thread - Fox - 12-25-2009

Going somewhere in a hurry. Try to maintain a brisk pace that somewhere between walking and jogging.

And yes, i definitely hafta do that as well, after last night.

For the guys in Makati:

I found a nice boxing gym at the corner of Tordesillas and Buendia.

They're offering a special group promo of 4000 pesos for 3 months per person. That grants the member unlimited access to their facilities from Mondays to Saturdays.

The catch is we have to sign up as a group.

Right now, I'm signing up for their Xmas membership promo: 5000 php for 6 months, unlimited training time.

Just thought the RR dudes in the area might know.

Considering I binged a few days this holiday season, I still managed to lose another kg. I guess my metabolism's picked up a bit. Only a kg away from my target weight at the end of this year. Not bad at all. Smile

RE: The General Fitness Thread - Mjting - 01-12-2010

Enough to get into FOXHOUND!!!!!

RE: The General Fitness Thread - Trace-02 - 01-20-2010

@Nix-- Am doing this Hundred push-ups thingy now... I'm kinda stuck in the first week. Me arms have just deteriorated after almost zero exercise in the past five (!) years since I started working.

Geez. I can only muster 5 good form push-ups before I collapse into a friggin' heap on the floor. I'm still gonna continue this though. Shades

RE: The General Fitness Thread - NiX - 01-20-2010

Hahah I'm also on week 1. It's ok. Just do it slowly but surely. We'll get there!

RE: The General Fitness Thread - J.E_Magog - 01-20-2010

Hahaha ang lupit. 70+ in one go. Back when I was tissue paper thin I can only do straight 20s. Nowadays I can only do510.
I'll try this one when I'm done with my skinny arms Ninja

RE: The General Fitness Thread - Mjting - 01-20-2010

Currently on 30 straight. I usually do 30 reps in 2-3 sets but I dont think i'll be able to go past 50 atm. 40 is my max. I'll try this. >Smile

RE: The General Fitness Thread - Twin-Skies - 01-20-2010

^

Not doing pushups for boxing, but the closest equivalent here is shadow boxing with dumbells. About 5 lbs per hand, and continuous jab-straights for 3-minute intervals. If I get tired, I'm told to transition to uppercuts and hooks to change the muscle groups.

RE: The General Fitness Thread - Goat - 01-20-2010

Mine was at 20 pushups straight. I'm currently at the third column.

We all need to join Foxhound!

RE: The General Fitness Thread - NiX - 01-20-2010

Anyone who can't do enough to get into FOXHOUND by the end of this year gets kicked out of RR!

http://metalgear.wikia.com/wiki/FOXHOUND --> 80 uninterrupted push-ups.

Kidding! LOL
