Well if he was such a successful engineer, he wouldn't be working for the city hall now, would he? =P

RE: Mental Toilet - HayWire - 10-31-2010

astig ka bossing Ardjin for standing up against up that guy o/

rant: work on freaking all saint's day
rave: holiday pay
fuck that. sleeping at home on a comfy cool rainy day > no amount of holiday pay

RE: Mental Toilet - RoninFang - 11-02-2010

XD

nice one though i don't totally agree with the line

"its sad to say here in our country skill matters not, its who you know. "

its only partly true also depends on the industry

even if you know everyone in the company but cant pass the job test

forgot to add also if you dont have the right skills for the job

well

the line "its who you know" kinda doesn't matter much

RE: Mental Toilet - zero_kanipan - 11-02-2010

@RoninFang
if you still need to go through a test, then you obviously dont know the right people XD it may not be easily detected in all industries, in varying degrees, but its there. the worst part is that its most prevalent in places where real skill is needed Sad

anyway

rant: was planning to unlock to Arma in Recettear today, and get some AC practice but stuff came up
rave: family outing to Star City. ownage at laser tag/blaster. general fun at amusement park ^^

Aye, this is the optimistic way of putting it, but having a friend of high status does help if money and power is the goal. Hell, relationship manipulation is a well known technique for getting that promotion in politics and in the military - who knows how many incompetent jackasses (like the one from ardjin's post) have wormed their way into the system? Facepalm

On the other note, the rant of the day: Soooooo sleepy today...
Rave: SAAM owns in Ace Combat:Belkan War. Woot

Ardjin, he should know your name by now.

So, how many people did he call in that day?

RE: Mental Toilet - Twin-Skies - 11-03-2010

Rant: It's official: I'm addicted to New Vegas.
Rave: I'm addicted to New Vegas. We're not worthy

Game Rant: Deathclaws. Thanks to the new damage threshold system, they're nearly impervious even to magnums and shotguns, and nothing short of a .50 calibre Match-grade Armor Piercing slug is going to penetrate that thick hide. They still ignore armor too.

Game Rant 2: Cazadors. I thought they were just uglier Bloatflies until they attacked. Shoulda known that Cazador was a species of hornet. And they swarm Jason

RE: Mental Toilet - Sforza - 11-03-2010

Rant: Midterms week!

Test tomorrow: Data Comm/Networking
Friday: Accounting midterms/Business Comm midterms
Saturday: Linux midterms

...I haven't studied at all and I'm going to watch Scott Pilgrim and another movie after work Tongue PRIORITIIIES

Tapos... May joke ako! "What do you call a frenchman wearing sandals?" Philippe-Philoppe

RE: Mental Toilet - Hempire - 11-03-2010

LOL SCOTT PILGRIM. I haven't seen the movie but the game is combo juicy.

I'm addicted to New Vegas too! I'm waiting for more texture updates, I want that motion blur and make the game look more appropriate to the setting. Then i'll play the game again as demolition man style.

Right now i play the game Very Hard, Hardcore, melee, no HUD. LOL. Took me awhile to get used to but it felt Kenshiro epic!!!... =D

Deathclaws are tough, but they hate BLUNTS!
Melee class is very interesting, there can be epic combos and wtf lol awesome moments when vats is timed right especially since stomping is not set to auto anymore. The realistic weapon effect *more accurate rag doll physics* also adds to epicness.

RE: Mental Toilet - HayWire - 11-03-2010

Got my full results for SAT. It's so-so but I want a redo. Sad

Rant: End of semester break. Back to school -_-

Rant: I didn't do much to prepare for Arnis Anyo auds, Days with the Lord, IP, Chinese HW (Homework during sem-break? NO WAI D: )

...I'm so dead when I come to school tomorrow XD

RE: Mental Toilet - Twin-Skies - 11-03-2010

@Hemp
A lot of the perks are melee-friendly, and you get special moves for some of the weapons. This game is so much more fun to melee in than FO3 Smile

My second character's probably gonna look like this LOLLOLLOL

As of now I am enjoying the gun pr0n way too much - the Ranger Sequoia is one badass revolver We're not worthy
