You had to get from 10 minutes before the boar up to past the rooftop boss without a checkpoint, with only 5 flasks, against double the number of enhanced enemies, with less equipment, no consumables and about 10 levels lower than the demo character equivalent to my Wanderer. No magic either.

Not to mention Ilkar was like, one of the best players of DS. Also, afaik he just uploaded 3 videos of Q&A regarding the final version of DkS. Will edit this out if I have enough time to look into it.

I say bring it on, Froamsotf! Not sure if I'll end up throwing the crap out of my controller against the wall if I, like, hollowed 6 times in a row though.

That's ok, I am actually training with old school 80's NES games that didn't have save states at all. Just like the time I finished the JPN version of Armored Core without a memory card (AC was my 3rd game for the PS1 and I never thought that games needed memory cards at that time).

I'm ready to die and lose it all, but I know that I'll soon be able to perfect my runs eventually.

Us 80's babies can take more punishment from video games, it seems. LOL

...I shall emerge on the other side with his cloak and scythe."

Nobody likes Dark Souls!

Anyway, here are what seem to be the sample tracks from the OST.

Got your DkS copy early? Don't go online! From will send someone to kick your ass. They will literally go after you:

Quote:t appears the developer [Fromsoft] is making use of a feature which enables players to invade each other's worlds, by sending max-level Black Phantoms into the games of those who are already playing the game thanks to retailers breaking Dark Souls' official Japanese release date

These early birds will leave worm-ridden carcasses.

Must agree. That sound more fun than the ban hammer.

DIRTY BASTARDS! Hahahahah!

RE: Dark Souls (aka Project Dark) - Lord_Leperman - 09-23-2011

DkS got a score of 37/40 from Famitsu, 9,9,9,10. Not bad I am impressed.

from: http://the-magicbox.com/ September 21 issue.

In contrast though, Famitsu game Demon's Souls 29/40 with 6,7,7,9

RE: Dark Souls (aka Project Dark) - Sforza - 09-23-2011

FF13 got a 39 -_- FF13 was universally ... criticized, to put it lightly. I still haven't finished it to this day.

RE: Dark Souls (aka Project Dark) - Goat - 09-26-2011

Spoiler:

Tutorial boss that you can either flee from or destroy. Killed with 2 damage per hit without weapons. LOL

RE: Dark Souls (aka Project Dark) - Lord_Leperman - 09-28-2011

10 save slots~! 9 Covenants, and maybe 1 for an unaligned character.. or 10 different character classes.

Rumor has it that the moonlight in the game fires a blade wave, ala Armored Core.

Also, Patches is back.

Easily, the best boss fight ever! (warning: super spoiler!):
