I was in that same area the week before Holy Week. There actually is a nearby footbridge. The guy was just too lazy to use it.
Well, he paid for his laziness then.
Being too lazy to use a footbridge = Being too lazy to breathe.
Madalas sa may malapit na footbridge, hindi ginagamit dahil mataas daw, nakakapagod. Tawid na lang kahit bawal.
