Just viewed everything in here.. Never used the scroll wheel that much in a single page
.
BTW do anyone of you guys have a copy of akazukin chacha or yaiba on any media? That's my GF's childhood and mine in a nutshell
I can probably get Akazukin Cha Cha for you if you really plan on watching it
Right now I'm getting the entire series of Silverhawks to re-watch
I was a big fan of pioneer animation labels back then.
Most of their English dubs were top notch imo considering how hard it is to localize anime
My fav was El Hazard's OVA version
...oh and I'll just include this one too
Oh, Gatekeepers! I used to watch it all the time, but subbed. On cable tv
HE-MAN!!!! LOLOLOL
Used to watch Gatekeepers too... (Does it count as "retro" anime?!)
As long as it's 10 years old or smth?
As long as it induces nostalgia, then it belongs here.

Nostalgia
[no-stal-juh, -jee-uh, nuh-]
[C18: New Latin (translation of German Heimweh homesickness), from Greek nostos a return home + -algia ]
1. a wistful desire to return in thought or in fact to a former time in one's life, to one's home or homeland, or to one's family and friends; a sentimental yearning for the happiness of a former place or time: a nostalgia for his college days.
2. something that elicits or displays nostalgia.
or;
1. a yearning for the return of past circumstances, events, etc
2. the evocation of this emotion, as in a book, film, etc
3. longing for home or family; homesickness
Just to make it better defined
For me, the things that induce nostalgia mostly come from the mid-'90s and earlier, just around the time i entered high school.
