Dude, exactly which Lenovo did you get? I'm thinking of selling off the premium (but ultimately borked) Dell XPS I have, and getting a real reliable do-everything kit. I've been eyeing some ultrabooks because SSD and thin sound nice, but they're still pricey at this point.
I got a Lenovo G480

Intel Core i3 3110M (2.4Hz, 1600MHz, 3MB L3 Cache)
Intel HD Graphics 4000 (blasphemy, I know. But at least it's the latest)
14"HD (1366x768) Display
4 GB DDR3 Memory/ Up to 8GB
500 GB SATA Hard Drive 5400 rpm (slow. )
DVD Super Multi Burner
0.3 MP Webcam
Bluetooth, 10/100 LAN, 802.11n WiFi
2 in 1 Card Reader, 2 x USB 3.0, 1 x USB 2.0, HDMI
2.2 Kgs with 6 cell batery
Preinstalled Windows 7 Home Basic 64-Bit.
It's amazing at being TOTALLY AVERAGE. All for a little above P25,000.00, depending on the store. Came with some decent freebies too. Got mine in PC Worx Megamall.
edit: Worst part about it is its finish. Fingerprints EVERYWHERE.

You can also consider just buying a laptop from Amazon and having it shipped here through Johnny Air. In many cases, spec for spec, it'll come out much cheaper even with shipping and customs accounted for. Your gamble is whether it'll arrive here in one piece, and the lack of local warranty.
