I think this design is fine as it is with the Nix. That thing is a beast up close anyway, and Griffon will give your enemies something to think about while you're closing in on them. Plus, a zook on this design's going to bog down the speed even more, and if you're not so much into real midweight speed (I know I'm not, that's around 350 - yuck Tongue), you might not like the effect. But hey, if you are, and if you can fit it, by all means do so. For that, I'd recommend the B2 or B3, or even BP if it holds.

For the core change, I'd say go to U4 if you're sticking with standard cores. More defense and all that. For EO, I'd go E2.

Oh and on a final note, I'm going to recommend that you equip another missile pack on the back, even if the AC goes overweight. I've seen it used to great effect myself, and I can say that versatility is always a good thing to have.

On the other hand, Tongue

know that specialized designs which cater exactly to exploiting the opponent's weaknesses will beat an all-around AC anytime. Something I've learned from previous experience.
