The name Jajanken comes from Gon's nen ability in Hunter x Hunter that has 3 attacks based on rock, paper, and scissors. Rock is the pulse blade and main damage dealer. Paper is the missiles for a ranged attack. Scissors is the shotgun for medium range.
Most RR dudes who play online PvP have played this by now. Basically, I kite with missiles and the shotgun while waiting for openings, then I come in with the pulse blade. There are some hard matchups for this, but it has tools to at least put up a fight against most builds.

Edit: Can straight-swap to Zimmerman if needed. But I'm already so used to the reload timing of the Haldeman.

I've been trying that Eliminate Carla mission for a while now to test my ACs when I'm just on singleplayer. While it's just against the AI, it lets you at least go on a gauntlet with Snail, Carla, and Chatty's ACs without any supplies. You may be able to repair but they all have repair kits as well so it's kind of an opportunity to test more situations due to the prolonged fights. The stage lacks situations where you need to chase someone though and I think I may have to reset the OS buffs entirely to take away the atk/def stats.

But yeah, Snail has a good frame with a lance and SNA, Carla has high stability with APERITIFs and SOUPs, while Chatty has the wheelchair tank threads. I think it's great for basic testing.

My main PVP build that has the capacity to deal with everything 'meta' based on my testing with randos and RR peeps.

It's got a simple plan, AB > Kick > Charged Linear > Charged melee

Or AB > Charged Melee cancel > Charged Melee > Back Laser > Charged Linear

And any permutation you see fit in between.

The left shoulder can be exchanged with a lot of things tbh, and I've had success with just another laser cannon, the 10 cell missile launchers, and various others. Its bread and butter really are the Laser Lance, the Harris, and the Kick.

In terms of swapping the frame out you definitely can. I chose most of them for aesthetics and usability. I use those legs now over the Verril because it lets me get to 490 Assault Boost Speed with the Buerzel, which can IN THEORY catch up to the Coral Corn Missile Submarine. I have yet to test this extensively.

Extension is Assault Armor because it absolutely counters Pulse Armor at face hugging range if the opponent decides to use it in your face, and it also wards off other melee or CQC users being too aggressive.

It can definitely be exchanged with Pulse Armor for better ACS flush and neutral.

This is also on top of this being a very good mission AC as well, just due to the Harris and Laser Lance just being very good for missions, been S Ranking a few of them since this is also becoming my 'canon' story AC, we are hounds after all, so being a quad feels correct HAHA.

Trying to make a viable build for 3v3 stuff but the projectiles are a little too slow, so I opted it for close-ranged quarters. I'm torn between the REDSHIFT coral lasers or LRB because I kind of want to prioritize energy surplus over weight. The SPD booster is there because I can't really dodge and move properly while always having to swap weapons every after shot, but I don't think it'll matter with less than 300 speed.

The plasma rifle is there for AoE and ACS damage for the most part, and I'm leaning on LRB over the REDSHIFT lasers due to it having more stagger uncharged.

Here's an earlier version of the build in action, it uses REDSHIFT and LRB with a circulating generator. I switched to the NGI-000 coral gen in case I needed to fly and chase someone in mid-air.

So, here is what I've been using lately. I don't have a screenshot of it, but I do at least have some footage saved:

1v1

I was having a hard time finding something I was comfortable with, mostly because I'm old. So I tried to come up with some rules to give me focus, on my first build. They were as follows:

1. Aim for stability, even if it means losing defense or speed
2. Aim for responsiveness, even if it means losing top speed
3. Focus on close range battle
4. If you're going to lose, make sure it's you and not the machine
5. No tanks

I came up with the machine above, but using a HU-BEN and ZIMMERMAN, with OCELLUS FCS. It worked really well, and felt great. I've since changed it to what you see above (double barrel laser rifle and laser handgun)...and I think this is working even better, for me.

In terms of piloting, the idea was to focus on getting to mid-range, and feel them out from there. If I think my best bet is to close the gap, I will...but if I think that's a bad idea, I stay at mid-range. The plasma missiles are really effective at both ranges, but better in close (when I have them busy). The vertical plasma missiles are extremely stable and effective for applying pressure and keeping folks from getting too comfortable. As for handhelds, the laser pistol charge attack is a burst fire shot, which works wonders if you're really close, or if you dodge a cannon shot. It's otherwise an extremely stable and safe gun to use. It basically is just an easier-to-use laser rifle. I can't say enough good things about it. As for the laser rifle...it's the biggest one I got, aside from the KRSV. It's big and heavy, but hits like a truck and is pretty accurate, even at mid-range. Also, you can push the gas on it and machine gun out a few rounds, if you are willing to overheat it. It has a massive charge shot, too.

I try to use assault boost to close gaps and chase folks. Otherwise, I stick to standard boost and boost hopping as much as I can. I try to limit the quick boost because I'm expecting to max out the generator often, and also because I felt it would be easier for me to not focus on using it for anything aside from simple position adjustments. Also, because I prioritized stability instead of defense, I went with the 44D head and WRECKER legs. I have tons of stability, and while it won't protect me against the biggest attacks, it will protect me from everything else...which is hopefully all I need to blow the other guy up.

So, here is what I've been using lately. I don't have a screenshot of it, but I do at least have some footage saved:

1v1

3v3 (featuring Franko!)

1v1 with TJ

I think I've got something good going with dual Zimmermans and stun needles. I'd consider my "main" loadout to be this Spring Chicken build.

However as we all know, the wheelchair legs are busted so I mounted the same setup on those legs.

I also tried to see if I could fit Zimmermans and Songbirds with Kazuar legs, it actually works great if you can deal with the hilariously low AP and energy cap.

Open to suggestions on optimizing these further. I'm torn between RJ and wheelchair legs because, while the wheelchair is fast, I'm really enjoying the movement with RJ QB's and jumps.
After seeing FightinCowboy's thoughts on Zimmers, I've decided to figure out a non-Zimmer build. Fortunately his Murakumo build gave me some ideas for a melee loadout.

No, this isn't a Zimmerman build!

I guess this marks the first design in the AC6 subforums. Seems to work on 1v1 PvP but I won't post any footage of it due to the voicechat possibly doxing ourselves out whenever I record a video. I've not tested the dual VIENTOs against the actual heavy tanks but I've tested it with a COQUILLET and 66LH and seems a little lacking, but staggers quite alright against them. I guess you can capitalize that on a 3v3 battle. Also, you can switch out the head for a 44A if you want better stats I guess, or get another better head.

EDIT: Aside from the GILLS booster, you can probably put BUERZEL for better Assault Boosting.

I can only post test damages at this time.
