Hey, guys! For those of you who don't know me yet, my name is White_Rain, and I have a design I'd like some of you to judge for me. I've currently beaten AC1 and gone to AC: PP, so I've had time to perfect my design. It's a middleweight with some decent balance - Pulse Rifle, Laser Cannon, and Missiles, along with the strongest blade in the game, the Moonlight (which I found back in AC1 instead of bought in PP). I would like for you to judge my design, if you'd like.

Total AP: 8023

EXTRAS: All Human+ upgrades, because I need to compensate for having my keyboard as my (difficult-to-use) controller.

I will buy different back weapons to adjust my equip given any recommendations by the community. But here's the stats I'm given for my AC, based on Project Phantasma's (possibly-flawed) grading.

OFFENSIVE POINT: 7821
DEFENSIVE POINT: 3806
STABILITY: 1320
MOBILITY: 5840
- MOVING SPEED: 2720
- TURNING SPEED: 1120
- RISING SPEED: 2000
SUPPORT SYSTEM: 1792
- RADAR RANGE: 798
- FCS PERFORMANCE: 994
OVERALL: 20579
GRADE: GREAT

The colors aren't TOO difficult, but I feel the need to give instructions on how to do it all because one could possibly mess up.
First, go to General, and set the colors to this:
BASE COLOR:
- R: 45
- G: 45
- B: 45

OPTIONAL COLOR:
- R: 35
- G: 35
- B: 35

DETAIL COLOR:
- R: 32
- G: 32
- B: 45

JOINT COLOR:
- R: 25
- G: 25
- B: 25

Now select the HEAD section and change OPTIONAL COLOR only.
OPTIONAL COLOR:
- R: 00
- G: 40
- B: 20

There. Your AC now has the exact same color scheme AND build as mine, if you followed all of the instructions from the top of this post to here. Unfortunately, I cannot give out detailed instructions on how to make my emblem, and if I were to send the memcard data via email for emulator users such as myself, it'd make all the work pointless because I already have my AC built and everything. (I also have my own recreation of Nine Ball, but that itself is nowhere near perfect.)

Any questions/comments/concerns? Let me know in a reply! Tell me what you think! Personally, I find it quite easy to use in spite of my shortcomings (keyboard controller).

EDIT: In case you REALLY want authenticity of me (save for the emblem issue), here's a thought: I even have a theme for my AC. If you wanna hear it and you're into heavy rock music, look up "Lost" by a band named Avenged Sevenfold and listen to it.
(Or if you want a theme for me MYSELF, look up "Higher" by Creed and REALLY listen to the lyrics. You'd know me pretty well just by listening to that song.)

Yes, it is a Human Plus Overweight Core. A cheap AC indeed. However, despite its seemingly insane firepower. The AC needs to be in good hands in order to perform properly. Despite being an HP. The Karasawa still drains a lot of energy and that requires careful tactics of boost sidestep boost.. Also, the AC is greatly offset by its low AP and its low defense against shell ammo. It is a multi purpose AC IMO. Slightly good for missions(if you know your way around) and performs greatly in the Arena. I've completed every task known in MOA(except leg specific parts arena) using this AC.

As you may have noticed, I've been on an old school AC fest recently. Since I just finished AC2 and AA, I went back even further and finally completed ALL the arenas in MOA (because I simply couldn't before. I wasn't good enough and my understanding of the game was still shallow then). Yes, both my PS1 and MOA CDs are still working.

Here's the AC that I used to complete almost all the arenas (except for the leg-specific arenas though).

(Sorry for the crappy photo. Took a picture of my TV using my cellphone cam >_<)

AC Name: Osiris

Head: HD-H10 (Eva-01 look-a-like head)
Core: XXA-S0
Arms: AN-K1
Legs: LB-1000-P (Lightest RJ legs)
Generator: GBG-10000 (Highest output)
FCS: QX-AF (The 2nd WS-Type FCS)
Booster: B-P351 (2nd highest boost power)
Back L: RXA-01WE (Starter Radar)
Back R: M118-TD (Ammo pack)
Arm L: None
Arm R: WG-MG500/E (Energy Machine Gun)

Ops:
S/SCR (shell screen)
E/SCR (energy screen)
ABS (reduces impact shock)
ABS/Re (further reduces impact shock)
CND-K (increases energy output)
EH (increases energy weapon rate of fire)
E+ (increases energy weapon power)
DEtq (decreases usage drain of energy weapons)

Rationale:

The entire design is built around the energy machine gun. The MG500/E has an insanely high attack power for its rate of fire, with its only drawback being the high usage drain. Hence the super low drain frame (around 5915 surplus EP). With the ammo, speed, unmatchable turning rate of this AC, no other weapons were really needed.

With careful booster control and energy management, one can literally hold down on the fire button from the start of the match until the enemy AC is destroyed without even emptying the energy gauge.

Though the AC is very light, defense is not compromised. Without screens, shell defense is at 1756 while energy defense is at 1616. Stability is relatively low, as with most RJs. But thanks to both the ABS and ABS/Re, the stability has been brought up to 3910, which is enough to keep the AC from being stunned by hand gun fire.

The AC's primary strength is in CQC not just because of the MG500/E but also because of its extremely high turning rate of 1420. The fastest turning quad is at 1160 while the fastest turning biped is at 1230.

Side Notes:

Touching MOA now makes me appreciate how simple AC designing used to be. It also makes me appreciate how later AC games have provided us with the far more relevant stats and a much better interface. In MOA, the range and lock speed of the FCS are not provided. Total shell and energy defense stats as well as surplus energy points are also not provided, among other things. -_-
