Mecha Look-alike Contest

Rules:

- Contestants are to build an AC that is supposed to look like a mech from ANY other mecha series (ex. Gundam, Macross, Front Mission, Mech Warrior, etc.).

- Minimum of 4 contestants.

- Maximum of 8 contestants.

- Submitted ACs CAN be overweight. External appearance is the only thing we're going for in this contest.

Requirements:

1. Submit your design with complete parts and paint scheme (including colors for weapons).

2. State the name of the mech your AC is supposed to look like and what series that mech is from. Provide a picture of the mech your AC is supposed to look like (can simply be a link to another website containing a picture of the said mech).



- Once at least 4 people have submitted designs, we will wait one week for any last-minute entries. Afterwards, the RR staff will take photographs of the submitted ACs, and voting can then begin.

Deadline: To be announced.

Voters: Please vote for the AC that looks closest to what it's supposed to look like. Please don't vote for an AC simply because it was based on a mech that you happen to be fond of.

Well well well, this is shaping up nicely. Everyone's interest seems to be piqued. However, since everyone also seems to be bent on reserving spots for themselves, but don't actually have the entries yet, we can do two things:

1. First eight finished entries get into the contest, or
2. Allow more than 8 contestants.

As of the time of this post, only 4 entries have been submitted, with 5 others stating their possible entries. What to do about this? It's your call NiX.

Let's just do this on a first-come-first-served basis. Whoever posts first gets the slot. If we have too many contestants, it'll divide the votes too much, and we don't want that.
