Since every other AC board out there already has a thread like this, we might as well have one too!
What do you consider the best (or at least reasonably usable) weapons in Last Raven? Name the weapon and state your reason.
I'll start with a few of the less obvious ones:
Missiles
69M starter missile - Fires fast and straight (therefore can be aimed like a rocket). Has one of the best power-to-weight ratios in the game.
SATYROS - Fires fast and straight just like the 69M but this one's got serious attack power (but with less ammo).
NYMPHE - Fires straight. Light weight. Locks fast. Locks a lot. Quickly droppable.
ETC.

RL - Good power-to-weight ratio, quite accurate when compared to other weapons, well balanced weapon. It can blind human opponents' vision and has decent stun.
R3 (left) - Light, decent ammo and attack, very spammable, quite accurate, good support weapon for almost any R-L weapon combo.
HP (left) - It's banned as a hangar weapon for a purpose. Its like bringing 1/3 of a rifle for 1/3 the weight. And since it's a left handgun, it boosts most, if not, all R-L weapon combos, and is particularly helpful to increase lockboxes of back cannons. Also, it can break part quickly compared to other weapons.
69H/Wraith - Hangar staples. Lightweight, accurate, and has enough killing power to finish off opponents for those late game situations where the battle is decided with handguns.
Roc2 - Hangarable pulse rifle with around 300+ attack power and 72 ammo. Considering ACs in general are more susceptible to energy based weapons, Roc2 is superb as a mid-late game weapon if brought as a hangar weapon.
Roc4 - Like HP, it's banned as hangar weapon for a (definite) purpose. 96 ammo, 550 attack power. As a hangared weapons, it's like bringing a pulse rifle equivalent of the SHADE laser rifle, for less the weight - and that's pretty much why it is banned as a hangar weapon. As a main or support weapon, it gives the AC a powerful short range weapon for 300+ weight, IIRC. It also has a low usage drain. Lastly, for some odd reason, the weapon isn't depleted easily. It lasts as long as the Shade or RL in time duration of usage, which, for a pulse rifle/handgun-type weapon, is very impressive.
Harpy - It's like a nymphe, easily spammable early game, then dropped at once. Versus light to mid weighted AC, these can bother them real good. Against heavies, it can give the AC using the Harpy an early advantage or AP lead.

RS- very dependable sniper rifle, good damage, ammo and shot velocity
griffon- use and drop left hand gun. good drop weapon for a blader, good accuracy and good heat and damage.
MV-MV2 - vetical missiles are generally harder to dodge than forward firing ones. disadvantaged by low ceilings.
elf3- hangarable blade which rivals the moonlight. can be used with a quick drop weapon... like the griffon
gar -lightest relations
gar2- relations with the most salvos supported
RM-quick drop relations
RM3 -relations with the most damage potential

Shade - One of the more accurate guns in the game. Lotsa ammo. Energy-based damage. Can be boosted by optional parts. Pretty much the same potential as the RL for less weight (you gotta live with the usage drain though).
Shade2 - Just like the SHADE but with more attack power for less ammo (more weight though). Said to be a teeny bit more accurate than Shade.
98L Minisawa - It's pretty much the energy version of the RS sniper rifle. Energy-based damage. Boostable through ops. Has one of the fastest shot velocities in the game.
81G Grenade Rifle - In the right hands, this weapon is top-tier. Excellent for OB jousting. Great weapon but it takes a lot of skill to wield.

HOLLOW: Accurate, rapid fire laser rifle. Damage builds up pretty fast. Top tier when fully upgraded with the ROE2 IMO.
CETUS: Highly powerful linear cannon arms. Can be difficult to aim, but on the right hands it can spell death, as the leniar cannon shots on mode 2 are powerful and fast.
98G: Dual grenade launcher. When the first shot hits, chances are the second one will hit too. Not to mention that it has a decent shot speed.
PIXIE3: The most commonly used right arm MG, lots of ammo for its weight and very spam friendly.
BP: Huge Bazooka. Devastating attack power and has plentiful ammo. Has a decent shot speed as well, making it accurate and deadly within mid to short range.
LADON: A low-risk quad-friendly back cannon which allows quads to back pedal while using a back cannon. Highly feared for its accuracy.

Fenrir: Top shot speed, great equip drain, big energy damage, weight is high but workable since it can be dropped. Long firing interval but use of cover can help that.
GL: VERY accurate, big damage, basically a staple as far as back cannons go. Long ping time but couple it with a WS boost and you are fine. And did i mention how accurate it is?
GERYON: Enough killpower to kill an AC 2 times over. Accurate, and a relatively low shot and equip drain. Not very heavy too.
HARPY2: Every reason given for the HARPY, but twice as nasty.

the GL is only accurate inside 300 m. anyway,
75mt - my favorite missle pack. together with the rm3, these can break a lot of stuff easily.
lamia2 and lgl - great short-range deterrent when used on tanks. the bigger lg also works wonders.
r2 - the r3's overlook brother. pretty reliable for a rifle.
gll - can't hit for crap outside 150 m but it's great for spam n' drop. rushers would think twice about trying to CQ you.
rla - great when used as a lefty.
b3 - just like the bp, only less damage and heat.
geryon3 - an lx that occupies only one slot. best used as a dropper weapon.
ra and ra2 - these rifles don't get the respect they deserve. pretty accurate.

Wow, lots more than the poor selection people bitch about. Still, I guess it is kinda limiting when you're starting to use the same designs over and over again.
Here's one: Urchins. Yum.
Oh, and Moonlight for bladers. Really, ever since that topic I can't stop whoring it, hehe.
...I cannot find one weapon listed above whose 'best-ness' I can contend with. Pixie3 maybe, but if it's not the best, it's certainly one of the most usable.

Jiren - Very helpful for OB users. Can save lives and energy bars. (Is this considered a weapon? lol!)

98RL - This weapon improved quite a lot in LR. Good shot velocity
NYMPHE - Not only it locks a lot, it also locks fast enough (youget 2-4 locks before KISSYOH jams it)
BP - Bazooka with good shot velocity, breaks part easily as well.
LGL - Good shot velocity and excellent stun. Breaks parts like no other if combined with a strong left arm

LB2
I'm slowly falling in love with this one as a hanger blade...
Has good weight, range, damage and slash time...
IMO, this is the most balanced blade in the game...
LB3
Breaks arms in 2 slashes and legs in 3 pokes...
It doesn't matter how long it is, it's how you use it ...
LAMIA
Powerful Pulse Cannon designed for stripping the AP off heavies...
I love this one too...
HARPY2
A Harpy designed for longer use...
Not meant for use against light-mids and lights...
Best for Platform type AC's...

rl- sinabi nyo na
CR-WB75MT - combined with the CR-E92RM3, its enough to kill an ac.
CR-WB03CGH - deadly at close range, i think its the best back mounted chaingun. it makes the dual chaingun look useless.
CR-WL06LB4 - excellent range with decent atk.
