Guidelines for setting up offline meetings.
#1
1. Do not post your personal info, this includes your home address, telephone number, mailing address, and where you study/work. This to protect your identity from potentially bad hook-ups.

2. If you are presenting an open challenge, tell any takers to communicate with you through PM (the Private Messaging system featured in this forum), or provide an email address where challengers can contact you if the challenge pushes through.

3. Do a background check on the person you're meeting. Decide on a meeting place accessible to both parties.

4. If both parties have agreed on a challenge, make sure you meet first in a public place and not in your house. Places include PS2 rental shops scattered throughout the Metro, or if you would just like to meet, make sure it's in a place you are familiar with. Coordinate with the other person through PM or through a mobile number (careful about giving this out) offline.

5. If you decide on meeting up with a stranger, make sure there's a friend or friends with you who are going along. You can never be too sure whom you are meeting and it's always better to have someone you know by your side in case there is trouble.
