There. I made some changes to the design. I used MACAQUE in place of the FL arms for more defense. GAR2 to RM3 for more offensive power...
I also removed the EC optional part for faster refresh and to fit in the GOLGI for upping the GORGON.
I also tuned a little more towards cooling... I'm not really happy with the design, particularly because I'm not really happy with RJs in LR... their low stability is a real disadvantage.

MY LIFE FOR AIUR!
all you need is a gold/grey paint scheme and you're set.
anyway,
just one question: why magnolia instead of g84p? it's less hotter with the vulture2.

I think the MAGNOLIA is there because of its refresh rate and its huge redzone, allowing for some slack in the event of an overheat. The G84P does not enjoy such safeguards.

Leperman hit it right on the dot. The MAGNOLIA's there for the bigger redzone, but it is running kinda hot with the VULTURE2. The G84P tuned to (7,3,0) is only 3 units heavier than the MAGNOLIA anyway so yeah that just might work better for me.
Oh and wanzerfreak, you hit it right on the dot too! I didn't really know what to name this RJ so I named it after the Zealot from StarCraft (they're reverse-jointed FYI :tongue . Oh and yes, I am sporting a gold&tan paint scheme. The arm weapons are even blue to resemble psi blades.
EDIT: I changed the MAGNOLIA to G84P (0,7,3). Booster heat and OB heat isn't so bad anymore, and the refresh rate is immense. You just have to be careful when OBing though because the G84P doesn't have a redzone.

Awesome! Did I tell you that the Protoss were my favorite, back when I played SC? :excited:
I probably suck at it now though, I haven't played in years.
Anyway, on to the design:
It's pretty solid, I never though the G84P could lend itself well to the combo of UL2 + Vulture2, but I guess you can accomplish anything with those boosters. Unfortunately, get hit with a missile cluster and the heat goes into the red immediately. And with pretty much, as you said, a non-existent redzone on the generator, you'll be in trouble when this happens. I'd go Lotus to make things more sure and safe.
It just has to be said though, that the Gorgon is pretty much unused, and with good reason. Although it's much more accurate than the Dragon or the Roc4, it's still pretty darned... inaccurate. Especially when OBing or boosting sidewards, trying to flank them, or when rising upward from an RJ jump, it just misses. I'd go with Griffon to make things more accurate. I think the latter gun has a higher part-breaking percentage as well, but I haven't tested it out.
Otherwise, another fun and solid RJ design from you. Keep them coming! Make a Dragoon one! We want a quad! We want a quad!

Well... yeah I could obviously use the LOTUS on this, and use the GRIFFON, but I'm trying to go for a little more part-variety in case you haven't noticed.
EDIT: Oh and yeah I may just make that Dragoon... but probably after the tourney. Heheh.

Indeed. I'm trying to limit my suggestions now too generally. I'm trying to steer clear of the overused parts, but sometimes it can't be helped, since there's so few of them.
Just thought of this now... how about Roc2 for the right, and R3 for the left instead?
Just a further suggestion, to warrant the existence of this post.

ROC2 eh? I'm actually interested in the Pulse rifles but I just haven't had the time to test them. Or even if I do have the time, I simply overlook them! Haha.
SHADE+R3 would probably make this a much better AC... but yeah that's a combo that makes any AC a better one. Haha. I'm actually running out of ideas for arm weapons. =(

Well I haven't made a Dragoon yet... but it'll most definitely be a Quad. LX perhaps? Heheh.
