finally made space in my cramped room for a gundam model. i got an RG RX78-2 1/144 and will be starting assembly tomorrow. so id like to ask if anyone has tips, or guides about the process. what tools to use, what to be careful about, stuff like that. links to guides, vids would be very helpful.
btw, tools i currently have:
scissors
cutter
wire cutters
tweezers
nail pusher
nail file
thanks in advance ^^

Damn, dude. Out of all the available plamos out on the market nowadays, you sure picked one of the more reasonably complex kits to start off on. Here in RR, you might wanna check out the AC and plamo threads, the WIP thread and the tips & suggestions thread for basic info.
For tutorials from other corners of the net, you might wanna look at these sites for starters.

Do your best on this one. Just take it slow and easy, you don't wanna rush projects like these. Also, please document your build process and post it in the WIP thread.

maybe you should buy a cheapo model muna before you try that model.
i think my first model was a gay pink luna zaku.

Agreed. For first-time plamo builders, it's usually better to start off first with HG or NG kits , as these are simple enough that you won't end up hating yourself or hurting your wallet if something goes wrong. I'd recommend taking on RGs or MGs (or PGs for the matter) after you've gotten fairly used to snapping the pieces together.
But hey, whatever floats your boat. Tell you what, the next time the Bash Brothers have a session, why don't you tag along.

was actually of thinking of starting with something simple, but due to budget constraints (nalimas nay ung 13th month pay ko kakabili ng ireregalo) i already got this one coz the review said it was really good considering the price. maybe i'll get a normal grade one to practice on before working on this.
thanks for the links btw, imma go read em now.
