Ahh, England: Where the local tabloids are read (and believed) far more often then the real newspapers.
If I were to speculate on this matter, methinks this may have something to do with the recently released report by Dr. Tanya Byron regarding violent video gaming in the UK.
Funny - I seem to remember that more people over there are killed due to soccer matches (bar brawls stadium stampedes, riots...) as compared to GTA or Halo 3.
