Back before most of us had internet connection there were not really "superior" hardwares to worry about (at least in terms of the tape player that we use), nor the DRM crew that is prowling about now adays. When the internet finally shows up with its near infinite download (that for starters already vary in quality in terms of bit-rates) and purchase options, whatever magic that was there years ago was gone.
Is access to this many information over the internet - which we do not even have the time to digest anymore, such a boon?
