Robbery at Greenbelt 5
#1
http://newsinfo.inquirer.net/breakingnew...ll--report

Crazy times we're living in. Craaaazy.

Dudes dressed up as the bomb squad went into Greenbelt 5 and proceeded to rob the rolex store. The real cops came to the rescue, and a shootout commenced. One bad guy got killed and a bystander got shot in the hip. The rest of the bad guys were supposedly caught.

So many incidents of bad guys dressing as cops... Who the hell do we trust now?

How the hell did they manage to get those M-16s inside the mall?

Cop credentials? o_O

People are way too trusting of men in uniform. It's almost like in Ocean's 11 when the entire crew walked out of the casino wearing SWAT outfits and carting away almost $100 million. The only difference is that they got away or at least until the sequel.

Akalas kasi nila sa pelikula lang nagagawa. Madali lang din magpuslit ng bomba sa malls...

I was supposed to have lunch there last Sunday at the same time of the robbery. Luckily, folks got lazy and chose to go to Rockwell instead.

Kasalanan yan ng mga pelikulang gaya nyan at CSI. Buti nalang nag shoot first, ask questions later yung mga pulis.

Lotsa conspiracy theories around this one. Some people say it's politically motivated (i.e. the elections), others say it's to cover up other stinky news. Hahah.

Here in the Philippines, it's actually "rapiduhin mo muna, palusot na lang sa press conference mamaya".

Totoo naman di ba? I think it's no secret that we have a lot of cops who're really bored with doing nothing all day long aside from chilling on sidewalks, hanging out in panciterias and tapsilogans or standing near busy streets waiting for some idiot to make a mistake. They don't really get all that much excitement in their daily activities.

So when someone does step outta line, they just let loose with their firearms and establish the suspect's guilt after they run out of bullets.

Hahhaah there you go.

Roberto “Boysie” Rosales, one of our head cops, is a family friend and I can vouch that he's an honorable dude. But yes, can't say the same for many other cops. Or people, for that matter.
