what i see is a huge impact on the environment due to the public's overeaction to a FLU. Also shitty pharmaceutical drug companies are probably enjoying the profits out of selling ineffective drugs which our body doesnt metabolize well and that leads to chemicals that are present in our piss and would eventually end up in oceans and other bodies of water. I'm not paricularly worried about the flu hitting the philippines, oddly enough there were no H5N1/SARS outbreak here. Weird but watching that presentation which i posted above i'm shock as to why? Why such a 'shitty' country in terms of healthcare and governance wasn't affected by the virus at all? Maybe we're all exposed to dirtier stuff that our immune system is like that of a cockroach O______O,

All in all Facepalm at the circumstances...... Facepalm at the age we live in.... But no matter, i'll be enjoying my chicharon anyway. =p

They say be careful what you wished for....well I kinda wished last year September for global conditions that would one way or another be related to hemp and I'm kinda surprised that shit happens, but there's still that old 'reefer madness' stupidity surviving....hopefully in our generation we can put an end to all this madness.

HAHAHA there are many things out there that are hyped up which overshadow other problems that need to be addressed. However, from what I saw in TEH NEWS, it was confirmed that mexico had 101 deaths. The real danger is the virus mutating into something more DEADLY than FLU. I don't have the exact numbers but i'm guessing people die in the thousands each year due to ordinary flu, but death usually occurs due to complications while having a flu which often happens to old people.

What is important is mind set. If you get sick and think you're going to die, most likely your body will act out like it is. However that can't be said with all diseases as there are terminal ones....which i'm more worried about and hope that the swine flu doesn't mutate to be a deadly virus.

On other news, I saw in CNN that Egypt is going to slaughter 300,000 pigs as a pre caution. Think of the meat, pork chops, burgers, all that porky goodness, oh and BACON.....all waste.... Facepalm I bet if you offer those pigs to starving people all over the world, they would care less about that flu. Facepalm

eating herb makes hemphire immune to most viral diseases.

if that is true then i should be 'panicking' right now since my supply train of herbs is cut off. My friend went to US and I don't want to look for dealers....kinda hard to do and is unsafe especially here in pinas. Funny thing is after herbing up for months now it's very easy to stop. i can say from personal experience that herbs can only get you psychologically addicted and that is nothing but getting reminded of things you normally do but enjoy more when high,,,.Meaning your body doesn't really look for it UNLIKE TOBACCO & ALCOHOL. okay enough of teh preaching na....kids don't do DRUGS mmmmmmmm k?

Hey guys, remember that we should stop calling this thing the SWINE FLU, although there's no new name yet. It's already mutated and the current strain only affects humans and not pigs anymore. The poor piggies aren't doing anything wrong! Stupid Egypt.

Anyways, you kiddies can read up on the subject here:

Gov’t to spend P90M on initial flu countermeasuresThe government will spend as much as P90 million initially to prepare the country against the spreading Influenza A/H1N1 virus, the Health secretary said on Friday. Health Secretary Francisco T. Duque III said more than half of the amount will go to stockpiling one million capsules of the anti-flu drug oseltamivir (marketed by Hoffmann-La Roche Ltd. under the trade name Tamiflu), as ordered by President Gloria M. Arroyo. "Our stockpiling is part of the P90-million [spending] recommended by the Health department’s technical working group to ensure that the initial phases of our preparedness are put in place," Mr. Duque said. The World Health Organization raised its alert level for the Influenza A/H1N1 virus spread last Wednesday to phase 5, or the stage before the phase 6 pandemic level, meaning a pandemic is just a matter of time.

PUTA!!!!! 90 million? Bullshit! When our own government can't even address the healthcare of most workers they go and buy 90 million???? worth of shit DRUGS? PUTA!!!!!!! I bet that 90 million is going to be enjoyed by other people pa since kukuha yang mga corrupt shit officials sigurado yan! Also take note >>>>> marketed by Hoffmann-La Roche Ltd. under the trade name Tamiflu

Marketed........ Facepalm

at the very least we can say that in comparison to the other branches of our goverment DOH still works as we have yet to suffer a real outbreak of a pathogen in comparison to the record of the countries around us. and besides we should be thankful also that we are a island country.

i think it's a mystery yet to be solved why we dont get outbreaks like salmonela **you have to cook chicken well done but doesn't mean if you eat raw chicken you'll get it, Japan does, but that is because they have fresh chicken** and flu viruses.

From a cook's point of view, there are a shit ton of chicken dishes that we eat especially in kalenderyas na when it comes to food sanitation it is poor....but of course we don't get sick from it. Correct me if i'm wrong but have there been outbreaks here in philippines? hmmmmmmmmm googling....

now after googling for mere seconds and reading the first page of the search result....i found that so far there were no DEADLY outbreaks here in the Philippines. Maybe Dengue and/or Malaria but those are not contagious.
