A bot that i've been using heavily lately. Still not exactly used to the new system yet so i'm still experimenting with the parts to see what goes well together. After a few days of blindly slapping parts together, i seem to have come up with a semi-heavyweight mech that has good defense but still maintains pretty good agility.

I chose a high-ammo gatling gun on the right arm to support the two weapons on the left. Depending on the situation, i can switch between the shotgun and the battle rifle, although i mostly save the shotgun for other ACs while the battle rifle is for MTs (i still use the term MTs for grunts even though the game refers to any mech as an AC) while holding down the fire button for the gatling gun. Instead of missiles or rockets, i chose the auto attack gun for this particular bot in light of it's assault role.

I definitely could use some advice for the internals. The OB on this bot seems decently long enough and the lockbox is big enough for me. If they can be improved (or if any other parts can be improved as well), i'm all ears.

Maybe boost your CE defense a bit, as it stands at 908 atm. CE heads like Roland will help it boost to 1175 but it will also lower your KE a little.

For Recon units I prefer the tracking types(the one that follows you) when going solo.

Based on our Mock battles, it seems that your AC seems to susceptible to close range Energy attacks. My build once focused on pretty much the same setup as yours but I soon realize that if you want to head face on, you really need to go heavy or not at all. (See what I did there?) Anyway..

I would suggest an effective Close range weapon, a shot gun or any close range Energy weapon would do. I also noticed that your are also susceptible to missile barrages. If you want to maintain your middle weight setup, Id suggest learning the boost toggle technique were they keep hiding in cover and pop out when there is an opportunity.

The shotgun's already there for close-range fights, although i'm thinking of swapping it for a pulse machine gun. Either i trade it out or put that behind the gatling gun.

As for the other aspects, tingin ko eh di pa talaga ako sanay sa game, hahaha.

A better shotgun would do then. Im always afraid when I hear someone shoots a Shotgun and I tend to not target that player anymore. lol

Alright. I'll try looking for something else to replace the Noctuidae. Then i'll be sure to look for you during our next mock battle. LOL

Nothing wrong with Noctuidae as far as I can tell.

I'm keeping the Noctuidae, on account of the attack power / reload /weight ratio. I also switched out the UBR-05 for a Strekoza.

By the way, I did tests on the Auto guns. That 900+ damage Auto gun isnt effective as I thought it would. The muzzle velocity of 500 doesnt really make viable during combat unless your target is a tank which probably isnt a good idea to face one on one.

I havent tested the 2k damage one since I dont find the 20 ammo enticing..

Agreed on the twenty-round auto attack gun. Too little ammo plus the long reload time isn't that attractive. For the UCS-17 / H, i don't mind the velocity since they're just there for support fire. At least these auto guns are a bit more reliable than some of the EOs in Last Raven.

Oh yeah, correct me if i'm wrong but doesn't higher numbers on the muzzle velocity stat mean that they're faster? At least that's what i've come to understand.

^ Yep, higher muzzle velocity = faster expulsions of destrctivity.

The UCS-17 / H dont hit their marks. Anyone who is strafing will dodge the bullets based on my test.. Only best when your target is around the 100 and below booster speeds.
