just a sketch, trying out my new traditional coloring style in colored pencils, my bff's sister taught me how to use colored pencils

it looks like youre using only one tone for your colors, don't be afraid to use green or purples and oranges to highlight the flesh and create shadows. blues are ok too.
with colored pencils you will have to layer your colors with different shades. keep up practicing. check out you-tube for tutorials...that's where i learened how to color anyway. ahahha

also i liked the waitress one..your lines there have potential. keep your lines smooth and try to ink long lines with one stoke only adding pressure to your pen when you need thick lines. try not to copy off of artworks too much you might get used to it. get a bunch or artists you like and try to create your own artstyle from there.

as for practice, try sketching a lot. sometimes drawing is all about muscle memory. once your hand rememberes the lines to create teh face, hands, ect..the rest will be easy.

also try not to perfect everything in sketching. sketching is about 'feeling' the form. just make a lot...a whole lot..so when you need to draw somehting, you wont have to think about where to put the arms and limbs and the proportion of the body. since you will instinctively know where to put what.

of course ill say try to read some good H manga. i prefer Naruko Hanaharu's artstyle because of his character's body proportions. and also his inking. http://www.fakku.net try searching stuff from there


OH OH OH no relation to anything but find '3 cm' it a good shikamaru/temari H maga. the cover is crap but the art inside looks like from the original naruto series ahhhh kyaaa kyaaaaaaa!
