Just the other day.

It was just lunch/merienda at a coffee shop near school, actually. My comrades set me up with one of the girls in our group who everyone knows I'd been carrying a torch for. This all took place right in front of her. @_@

I actually expected her to refuse. Hell, I considered just going to Katipunan to work out during our long break... @______________@

utterly depressed. aaaa they still haven't given me my paycheck and im absolutely dirt poor. not to mention i cant take a leave to fix my portfolio. i wanna throw things out of frustration. who wants to buy my watercolor paintings lol @ 2k each ahahah like those would even sell --im a terrible artist. plus my back hurts. and im unhappy with my job. and im not a proper woman who can cook and clean and has pretty hair.


also i hate my life right now so depressing wanna die ;o;

Looks like we're in the same boat. That happened to me too during this first month and a half on the job. I've seen two payslips already but i haven't seen the pay yet. For some reason or the other, the guys from HR say that my name didn't come up when the finance dept. released the checks for our training allowance and first salary. The HR guy also said that they'd look into it and see if they can scare up my missing earnings.

If they don't clear up things by this Friday, i'm pretty much fucked at that point.

Isn't releasing payslips without actually releasing the pay illegal or something?

I dunno. All i know is that once payslips are handed out, the paychecks should follow soon afterward, usually within a couple of days or so.

Rant: Not counting the good things RR has done for my poor soul, I've been having terrible luck for the past several weeks.

A LOL moment at GT Makati with arch_angel

BACKSTORY: arch_angel asked Cabs in Japan to look for two specific PVC statues.

Unfortunately, Cabs wasn't able to find these items in Japan (given that the otaku there outnumber us by several hundred.... thousand... I think...) arch_angel's last resort was to check the local hobby stores.

Luckily, he was able to find those exact two PVC statues at GT makati (So lucky that the items he found were the only stock remaining, and that the Yoko statue was once reserved but then got it canceled, and the Mio was accidentally sent to that store by mistake :3 )

Fast Forward to Tuesday:

Met up with arch_angel at GT Makati to pick up his prizes and I noticed two guys browsing the PVC statue shelves. I ask arch_angel when he wants to get the stuff and he replies that he wants to get them after those two guys leave.

I go up to the PVC figure shelf and wonder out loud: "I wonder who reserved those two PVC statues up there...? Damn. Whoever must have reserved those Yoko and Mio figures must be really lucky! Man, I could just kill him! "

Dude#1: Damn it, man. That Yoko sure is RARE. There aren't any statues like that available anywhere else.

Dude#2: Yeah, and that K-On statue is sold out in Japan. I was supposed to come back for that yesterday but somebody already had it reserved!

@ iraya and fox: you guys should REALLY bring those matters up. it already sucks that you're investing your time and effort for them, so they should REALLY be meticulous and at least punctual with your pay.

@evil panda: yes, I do understand your plight may it be cod4 or even HON sometimes, i really don't wana play with any filipino. their mentality is just so fucked up.

@trace: yeah one of the luckiest moments so far in my life. happened on a whim too. lol

RANT: I SO WANNA KILL WHOEVER MOTHERFUCKER IS THATS MANAGING HOW TRAINS COME AND GO ON THE LRT.

since I'm from the first station going south (monumento), here's the pattern or how they send out units.

train 1 parks at the waiting area, stupid filips ride. train fills up for an eternity, while the next few stations fill up their waiting areas (including monumento) train leaves. therefore, the people in the next few stations wont be able to ride or at least most of them. hence, lrt needs to send out one skip-train( a train that totally skips monumento or the first two stations, to let people on the following stations ride). so, as this happens, monumento gets filled to the brim, HENCE needing to allot another train to fill up there, so..rinse , repeat. you can see how everything goes in a vicious cycle. the bad part is, they send out skip trains every other train, hence worsening the fucked up situation in monumento even more.

I honestly don't know why they don't just go for a fixed "boarding time" for the people. if you dont get to ride, fuck you and wait for the next one. with that implemented, trains dont get as filled as much, hence being able to accommodate people in the next stations. AND keeping the whole line (both directions) moving in a uniform and fixed manner. Everything is just so random. sometimes, trains arrive 15 mins later, sometimes its train spam (depends on which side of the line has more)

The EMPATHY system where drivers just make "pagbigyan" to the passengers makes it all worse as trains RANDOMLY leave stations as it depends on the "awa" of the drivers. They should really start disciplining the people where if they really wanna get off the train, better get to the door really early instead of just going there as it opens even when they're a million miles away. people who fill up the spots at the door instead of going to the middle portion of the train where its always roomier doesnt help either.

GOD I HATE THE IDIOTS in this country. sad thing is, there are a lot of them. some of them are even rapping or swimming in garbage for their presidential campaigns.
