Help me out, RR.

That sneaker is a Nike quickstrike (limited) released only a month ago. And it's actually retailing in GB5 for basically the same retail price abroad ($125+tax. Here it's 6700-something).

I already used up most of my October budget. So I said to myself that come November, if it hasn't sold out yet, I'm getting it. Heart says yes but mind says no.

Cop or not? Big grin

Generally, if it's a toss-up between the heart and mind, i'll go for the heart.

You can do it! Get that beautiful sneaker!

Not meaning to offend, but is the thread just about a particular footwear's aesthetics?

Not at all. We can talk about functional sneakers too, if you want. Like your favorite running shoes or gym shoes. Basically, anything that's got a rubber sole (I hardly exercise much, though, so I actually only have one pair of really old cross-trainers. Ninja ).

@Thanks Smile

When it comes to shoes, I put everything into function, since I really, really need a pair that lasts.

I've been a big fan of Adidas shoes for a while now. It started when I bought a discount pair of their running shoes two years ago. I used those same pair for all my roadwork and training, and aside from some scuffing and a bit of thinning on the rubber, they're still working.

Wish that I could say with the same with my Nikes - the last pair of shoes I got from them was literally falling apart after only about 1 1/2 years of use Sad

Call it bad luck, but I've had a bias for Adidas since then.

Not to mention their runners are REALLY light - they don't absorb shock as well, but they're well-ventilated, and I can wear them for hours without getting sore feet. My only gripe is that they look bland compared to other shoes.

Not as bad as the TF/nike.
