After a week of not being able to run due to a badly scraped knee (no street lights+speed bumps+concrete=OUCH), I finally managed to get back on my 5 km jog.

RAVE:

Cleared the run in 41:12.9

Not much, but a personal best. I shaved off more than a minute from my previous run a week ago.

RAVE 2: Dropped nearly 10 lbs without noticing in 2 weeks. Not dehydration, since I downed 3 glasses of H20 before stepping on the scale.

In case anybody's wondering why I'm torturing myself, I'm joining the Pasig marathon this November 8. To be more specific, the 5 km category.

can't believe a professor can do that.. (I mean.. give a failing mark to more than half the class.. >.<)

now I know why Engineering is the summer capital of UST..

I'd love to join that Marathon. The last Marathon I ran was six years ago. Need to sweat out the mini burgers we've been feeding on these past few weeks. LOL

hey, it sounds interesting. my usual jog is 3.5 km in 30 mins or less. but i usually have enough stamina to double the run. I'll check my sched. if I'm free, I'm in. time to add more mins and speed to my run till next week then.
