Interview with Ji3Moon Ace, One of the pro tekken players in Korea. It's really good that he stuck with his character even when nerfed badly. He also points out certain facts on game balance(steve) that the mods in tz(who get bashed regularly for being know-it-all-but-tier-whores-nonetheless) just can't seem to accept. Imho always take a korean's opinion above everyone else's when it comes to high level gaming.

Lingmass has played his last DR tournament, which he actually WON. Yeah, it's a big deal for a Ling player to actually WIN a tournament and not just end up in the top 5

Edit: Lingmass is the Evo 2k8 Tekken DR finalist. That would make him the best Ling player outside of Korea/Japan, and I'm a Ling player. Ling and I have a love/hate relationship We complain about each other a lot.

Okay, my lo-down on t6 after a few days of playing..yep, there are a lot of gripes, too and i have some.

first off, Core gameplay is great, still the same tekken we love. intense matches with andrew made me feel that way. Characters feel SLIGHTLY heavier in comparison to t5/t5 dr, but hardly noticeable-not as bad as t6 stock, as the first t6 that came out had your characters wear concrete boots/shoes.

graphics are great. okay, some people say the arcade version was better, but then again, its on a machine with more memory and optimized for that game only. prolly not as great, but fucking close so i dont mind. you also have the option to change the coloring of the screen to bright cartoony-like or a more realistic darker tone. you can also turn off motion blur to get more anti aliasing, but id rather have it on.

okay, now some(if not many) of the gripes i have.

user interface seems rushed. labels here and everywhere, and when you're in a match, the stupid text in the center bottom of the screen displays what mode you're in. unneeded. also a lot of "help" texts moving around when you're in game. like "jabs are the fastest moves n the game, use these for priority" stuff scrolling around the bottom. it doesnt feel refined.

god awful load times even when fully installed. also, before the game starts, it ALWAYS loads up the trophy system(who needs this anyway? who the fuck introduced this garbage to the gaming world? stuff for bragging rights? so what?)

no start+select reset lol.

theres this prompt before the main menu loads up that will ask you what side of the screen would you like to play in, but for practice mode, you're always on the 1p side wtf.

scenario mode is bs. this is the only mode that allows you to earn the unlockables and get wads of cash. controls are clanky, and the cutscenes are terrible.


well, that's it-i barely notice the clutter in game, but just patch it BAMCO for christ's sake, it took you two years to make this. make it right. a few tweaks and this will be an even moar awesome game.
