can you see that possible with starcraft, cnc and especially WARCRAFT?

although dota requires more skills and strategy compare to previous fad games such as counterstrike

another reason RTS games dont prosper is because of online games, online games onyl require management and no quick thinking or skill micro, not to mention BOT

Yup.. Skills are important in DotA..
Compared to CS.. Needs only teamwork and most of all "Accuracy"

Bots? I hated them.. Using bots make only a fool out of your self..
Much better is you see the development of your character..
And you are having much effort lvling it..

Talagang tamad si Juan, IMO.

Maybe it's because of how most filipinos enjoy their games. I mean, if their friends play CStrike over War3 (back then, these games were the choices), then there's no question, they'll play CStrike because of their peers.

As FPS games dominated the Icafes, Ragnarok came along, still giving no opportunity for RTS games to prosper. Mainly, because playing that new game together with your peers+getting progress and so on+that internet connection that cafe always had=dominance.

However, people of higher class tend to play RTS games also. Long explanation.

Rediscovering DotA and retraining skillz. Done with Tinker plays. Done with Raijin plays. Done with Axe plays(I considered him too cheap before so I didn't play him).

Might undertake other complex/skill based heroes, such as Chen, Mirana, blah, blah.

Oh and if you're on a PLDT connection, go play at PLDTBnet. Hosts there have a delay-reducing third party program (Which is legal btw.), called DR. I also recommend it for SmartBRO users, but don't you dare host games.

Active mods and active community too. Usual rules, pero mas mahigpit sila when it comes to quitters/trashtalkers. Garena turned into trash, so I prefer playing there. >_>
