If the company doesn't respect its employees, resign. Or talk to the higher ups about it and then resign.

Hi. I just want to tell you that your response was incredibly stupid and insensitive. You have no idea how good he is at his job. You took no account of the situation at hand, and quite obviously you're not in a position to criticize anyone because you've probably never held down a job in your life.

your point?
If I may intervene, Atdsutm and Apple, the former's comment came off as a bit insensitive, as much as his intention was merely to say what he thinks of the situation and nothing more. However now wasn't the right time to say it given what Fox is going through at the moment. Its called being tactful Atdsutm and it helps in avoiding conflicts.

and Apple... You're an apple, though a bit of a Snapple Tongue Take it easy.

I'm sure the last thing Fox wants to see is for 2 people fighting over his predicament, so yeah just drop it and peace? Happy

Oh, and Fox, I agree with Grim and Nix. I though, would like to be optimistic with your future reassignment as much as it will take some adjusting time. Who knows? Maybe you'll be happier than before. It happened to me once in DOF where I was reassigned to a different office away from familiar faces. It turned out in the end that I was able to connect just as well with my new office mates, given of course an adjustment period of a week or two. Up to you though, I'd say give it a shot with your reassignment. Entirely up to you, as we don't really know how you weigh your options.
Whoa, whoa, take it easy. Spot on, Rick.

Fox, whatever does you more good, that's the way to go. I can't seriously tell how to react there 'cause I haven't ever been employed (officially) yet, so here's a piece of my mind instead.

If you're gonna hit 'em hard and leave, well, work is still income. If you've got a back up employment gig, or (what Nix and Mix said), then it'd be best to have a good conversation with the higher-ups about how well your team used to be because of the supervisor's "weakness". Then kick the bucket and give them a finger too. LOL

Chill, people, chill. We're here to help. Chair

@atdsutm: I've been on the same spot as you are now. Be the better man. Tongue
To Fox:

It's not an easy decision, I guess...
But yeah, just almost like what the boss said.
You're over a year tenured, most quit after six months of trying out their -ahem- work. Just those will have people pick you out from their list of applicants and want to have you work under them.

But personally, being happy at work is way better than being just a part of the workforce.
'Signatures are overrated.'
@atdsutm: I think Apple read your post as "Go ahead and quit, it'll be easy for your boss to find a replacement anyway since the economy is bad."

Office politics has nothing to do with the bad economy in the first place, so I have no idea why you chose to post that. Hopefully, it's only a misunderstanding. I thought your reply was uncalled for too.
what im saying is that it might hard for Fox to have another job (due to current events) if he leaves right now. It would be a safer bet if he hangs on and stays for awhile.

and why is everybody implying that im the fucking bad guy?

I don't think you're the bad guy. I think you got misinterpreted Ninja Happens a lot on the internets.
You're not bad and neither is Apple. It's just all perception.

Anyway, yeah, ok din yung advice ni Rick. Try out your new post for a while maybe? If it really blows, THEN you quit.
walang hiya wala palang I.link support yung na slimline ps2. At silent line lang ang I.link compatible.
I think they stopped support for that even for the later fat PS2 models. Does that mean you're playing with someone there? Big grin
Yeah i'm gonna to lure those ugly prepubertals when they arrive here.
Its disappointing why sony is downgrading their consoles to boost sales.
fak, andrew is usiing my account!!
