I don't have to be a trekkie to tell you that it was Fucking.
EPIC.
The Romulan ship clawing out of that black hole was so Daibuster Cool, scary, and just freaking huge!
On aside note, Kudos to the guy who plays the younger Spock - any man who can put up with a shitty haircut like that and still keep a straight face deserves my respect

Spock is played by the same guy that played Sylar. That's why Spock can kick ass now.

It was really really epic indeed. 95+% on Rottentomatoes and $80M (currently) can't be wrong.

@ Grim
Let me share a rhetorical question with you:
I like hamburger, and I like ice cream, but does that mean I'll eat hamburger-flavored ice cream?

Know what, I think I'll include a cup of ice cream in the shopping list for BYOB, just to see if you guys might be willing to try something like this. Take your pick, I think vanilla works best though
Edit: Now this is what you call going off topic

Not quite, good sir!
I heart Nintendo games, and I certainly like movies, but...

Just got home from watching it. Really good movie. I'm not a fan of Star Trek in general, but I enjoyed the film. Props to J.J. Abrams, franchises of this nature are usually hard for the general populace to get, but he made it happen.
