Glad you liked it. Anyway, I'll go on posting since it seems you guys are interested. This batch features Miku Hatsune songs by ryo.
MIKU HATSUNE. Melt; Probably my favorite Miku Hatsune song. It got me into Vocaloid as a whole. It's a very moe song about a girl and the guy she likes. The video is fantastic by Vocaloid standards, and one of the few I can listen to casually. <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/fNVa0lLGNDw&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/fNVa0lLGNDw&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object> MIKU HATSUNE. Love is War; One of the few Vocaloid rock songs. Amazing video (this is the norm with songs by ryo). It's about the many figurative wars people have to go through when in love. Miku's voice does not match the rock music too well but the song is good nonetheless. <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/SPwDfCUSBhw&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/SPwDfCUSBhw&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object> MIKU HATSUNE. World is Mine; Great song, funny video. It explains how Miku tends to be quite demanding of her boy, and probably the reason for the "Love is War" song. It also gives boys good tips on how to treat girls properly (like a princess!!!) <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/D-nq-3nsoEk&hl=ja&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/D-nq-3nsoEk&hl=ja&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object> (02-20-2009, 02:01 PM)AppleHead Wrote: MIKU HATSUNE. I love the video!!! It's dripping with cute. Especially on high quality. EDIT: your RIN Initial D GUTTER DRIFT vid BROKE MY BRAIN. Tnxbai

Found an acoustic version of "Melt". Might be just me, but I like it even better than the original!

This post is going to be different, because it'll be about videos that show the Vocaloids but doesn't have them sing anything. Just goes to show how popular they are in Japan.
First is smooooch, from BeatmaniaIIDX16 Empress. The original video for the song: <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/N6s0HK-pKj0&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/N6s0HK-pKj0&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object> The vocaloid version which copied the original, and is really cute and funny: <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/4r29hTL4EMY&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/4r29hTL4EMY&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object> Probably the most famous Nendroid Vocaloid vid out there. Title is "Kurotto, Odotte, Hatsune Miku". Watch out for 1:40! <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/j7al5TKaR8M&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/j7al5TKaR8M&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

Heheh the last one's really really adorable. :3
A fruity note**: If the songs I post have lyrics/singing, the most important criteria is that they have english subs. There are a lot more great songs I've found that didn't have subs, so I didn't post them first. This is the reason why I haven't put Megurine Luka videos here yet. I do not think people will watch if they don't understand the lyrics. The lyrics is always a strong selling point with Vocaloids. (END of note)**
The past few weeks have seen Megurine Luka and Hatsune Miku battle for chart supremacy on Nico Nico Douga. Luka seemed to be holding her ground over Miku until the song below was released. MIKU HATSUNE. Nebula (eng subs); The quality of the 3D CG just blew everyone away, even eclipsing the song which was great on its own. Try to watch the HD version on youtube if you can. <object width="480" height="295"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/Vw-LVpqu2JI&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/Vw-LVpqu2JI&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="295"></embed></object> ...Back to the epic song posts now. MIKU HATSUNE. Hajimete no Koi ga Owaru Toki (When the First Love Ends); A song released by ryo (World is Mine, Melt, Love is War) a few months ago which proved to be extremely popular as well. It's a very positive and hopeful song about moving forward after the end of your first relationship, which for many people is both the happiest and most painful. <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/rUfffElCDqM&hl=ja&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/rUfffElCDqM&hl=ja&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object> INSANELY GREAT COVER BY DOUJIN ARTIST (Choucho) of the above song. <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/7LvjC1W3SCI&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/7LvjC1W3SCI&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object> *D/L Link http://www.mediafire.com/?w5wmjm2zynt MIKU HATSUNE. Melt 2M mix; Same song as the one posted before, just that this happens to be a very good remix. It's like the disco version to the acoustic version. Just the link here since I posted Melt already before. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_LX6FCqVQ60 FAN VIDEO: The Rage of Miku Hatsune, or what happens when you try to steal her shimapan/striped panties. Who knew she had missiles under that skirt? Also, Len has incredible endurance. Watch the high quality version if you can! <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/R6E03UBP6Rs&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/R6E03UBP6Rs&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object> MEGURINE LUKA. Around the World; So I won't be accused of bias for Miku! This is a nice disco/dance song about how music affects us in general. You can find the lyrics below, but there's no subtitled version of the video yet. http://fuwafuwacinnamon.sakura.ne.jp/around.html <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/RTsFMgzG7mU&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/RTsFMgzG7mU&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object> There are lots of good videos out there, but I've been posting only the most popular ones here, and only if they have subs. It's sad that Luka videos mostly don't have subs yet. If I get around to posting tomorrow I'll do Kaito, a male vocaloid.

It's not true that folks here won't appreciate Japanese songs without subtitles. Most of us here are anime fans in some way anyway, so it comes with the territory. And I believe that good music transcends language.

Really cute 3DCG of Miku Hatsune dancing to "Miracle Paint", for her PSP game "Project Diva". It's supposed to still be in development, hence the black background.

Been a while since anyone posted here. Since I'm a big Luka fan, here's one song I just came across when my sis (who's also a Luka fan) was playing it's the opening to the anime "air"
