Glad you liked it. Anyway, I'll go on posting since it seems you guys are interested. This batch features Miku Hatsune songs by ryo.

MIKU HATSUNE. Melt; Probably my favorite Miku Hatsune song. It got me into Vocaloid as a whole. It's a very moe song about a girl and the guy she likes. The video is fantastic by Vocaloid standards, and one of the few I can listen to casually.

MIKU HATSUNE. Love is War; One of the few Vocaloid rock songs. Amazing video (this is the norm with songs by ryo). It's about the many figurative wars people have to go through when in love. Miku's voice does not match the rock music too well but the song is good nonetheless.

MIKU HATSUNE. World is Mine; Great song, funny video. It explains how Miku tends to be quite demanding of her boy, and probably the reason for the "Love is War" song. It also gives boys good tips on how to treat girls properly (like a princess!!!)

That was awesome. I would have listened to that song regardless if it was sung by a Vocaloid or not. I love the video!!! It's dripping with cute. Especially on high quality.

This post is going to be different, because it'll be about videos that show the Vocaloids but doesn't have them sing anything. Just goes to show how popular they are in Japan.

A fruity note**: If the songs I post have lyrics/singing, the most important criteria is that they have english subs. There are a lot more great songs I've found that didn't have subs, so I didn't post them first. This is the reason why I haven't put Megurine Luka videos here yet. I do not think people will watch if they don't understand the lyrics. The lyrics is always a strong selling point with Vocaloids. (END of note)**

The past few weeks have seen Megurine Luka and Hatsune Miku battle for chart supremacy on Nico Nico Douga. Luka seemed to be holding her ground over Miku until the song below was released.


MIKU HATSUNE. Nebula (eng subs); The quality of the 3D CG just blew everyone away, even eclipsing the song which was great on its own. Try to watch the HD version on youtube if you can.

It's a very positive and hopeful song about moving forward after the end of your first relationship, which for many people is both the happiest and most painful.

There are lots of good videos out there, but I've been posting only the most popular ones here, and only if they have subs. It's sad that Luka videos mostly don't have subs yet. If I get around to posting tomorrow I'll do Kaito, a male vocaloid.

It's not true that folks here won't appreciate Japanese songs without subtitles. Most of us here are anime fans in some way anyway, so it comes with the territory. And I believe that good music transcends language. Happy
