same here, no problems encountered with 2.52.
Ardjin, try DTs suggestion first before choosing to reformat.

What exactly do you see on your PS3 after reformatting its HD? A lot of consoles were bricked after the 2.40 update and most people just formated their HDs and re-installed the update via storage media, this could work for you as well.

You can also try system recovery by holding on to the power button and wait until you hear 2 beeps and select from the menu screen.

Rant.

Okay, just saw Quantum of Solace last Saturday at SM V Mapa. The movie's not the rant though, it's the theater. The usher tried to direct me up to the freaking balcony seats. I asked her why i couldn't sit in the front rows, and she replied the management said so.

I told her there that I had just spent 141 Php on the ticket, and that there is no way that I was sitting in the back, where I could barely make out what was going on onscreen. They let me sit in front after that episode, but I had to ask why we were being told to sit in the back.

It was apparently to discourage piracy - to keep people from recording the film



Correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't forcing people to watch a movie at ranges that'd make their eyes bleed be a more likely reason for them to give on the whole "cinema experience", and cause them to just go home, and just buy a cheap-ass bootleg of the flick? I know that's how I felt...aside from being tempted to drop-kick the theater's management for coming up with such a dumbshit solution like that
