AC4 and FA feels just like your generic ACLR disc that ran away and returned only to steal your money, knowing that it was totally changed by the people outside.

A real-life Furuna would be as big as a regular house, wouldn't it? Yup, aircon problem solved. Forever.

I think my ps3 just got borked, when I turned it on, it said It'l try to recover some files, then restarted. now when I turn on my ps3, theres no response fron the control pad.. Any one had this problem?

Can't blame From Software on that one, they just wanted to increase the AC fan base to further increase their sales on this title. Software development is a business after all, it needs sales to survive.
Lets just be thankful that From is still alive and kicking even though other companies are merging or just disappear from the gaming industry scene. They even have a large booth at the recent TGS event, so we can say that the future of the AC franchise is still bright.

FYI I wasn't able to attend this year's TGS (hopefully next year), I was just given loads of information and materials from it.

I understand from having to bow down to economics and all but I really hope they release something that closer to the old titles the true problem with what they did with 4 IMO was that they changed so many things at a short span of time the veterans just can't adapt quickly or want to...


OTEDIT-OMG: while waiting for the forsaken slow dl of d2 I chanced upon to watch " a very special love " normally I avoid this things but oh well it brought me back to my childhood of watching Esperanza, Mara Clara, Mari Mar (heck I watched this one side by side with ultraman tiga) well I guess if India had the ever present dance scene ours is this at least the obligatory singing number has been lost.

so...last Tuesday, my dad went through liver complications and died in the hospital because his blood pressure kept dropping.

weird enough though...I felt really sad at first but now, it's mostly passed. either I never really cared for him or it just hasn't hit me yet.

This past few days have been rough on me.. I got to work on monday and totaly fell sick(I was suffering from light head aches earlier). Went home and rested up a bit, after lunch plenty of sleep and pain killers(and other meds), my head ache escalated to a fever(and a very fierce one to boot), this lasted until yesterday night, eventho the fever is gone my head still frackin hurts like hell, during my aleged sick leave I was so out of it that all I did was lie in bed, heck I did'nt even had strenth to play any consoles. And when I finaly got a little better, my PS3 HD borked. After a very sad reformatting regimen(Deleting all your saved data is not a very pleasing thing to do) I then DLed all the data I lost(mostly purchased games) and fixed everything up all over again..

Even now, all thats kept me going is a painkiller I took a minute ago(tho I took that, my head still hurts). I jst hope this is'nt smthing serious lyk brain cancer or any shit ly that..

Doc passes by your place at times right? Maybe he can help you out in identifying what the problem is. Sorry about your PS3, but at least its not totally borked like you 360 right?

I personally think your just very stressed ... another possible factor would be your diet and also some high quality games can make your head hurt too ... I know most of this through experience and as our family has a legacy of having migraines XD and I personally suggest going easy on the pain killers boss.

also I think it goes something like this : general pulsing pain = high blood pressure, pain on the back of the head = too much gaming =( or too much visual info, pain concentrated on the front part = too much thinking/stress

To keep it simple, the facts are that high fever causes:

Headaches
Joint pain
Chills

Fever is caused by either exposure to sudden changes in temperature (weather), or as a defensive mechanism against foreign bacterium/viruses.

@Sforza: ndi xa bnew nung binili ko, 100gig ksi sya. Mali nga lng in my part was not formatting the hd after recieving it(me games kc nka install).

Painkillers finaly doing thier job, primary functions are already stable(mdyo ndi ko mkagalaw knina s sobra migrane). Tho my head aches are gone for a while I've been sweating a river here, uwi mna ko pra magpalit.

Good thing LCDs were invented. If not, 8 hours a day in front of a tri-monitor display setup at work will provide me enough radiation to trigger a mutation in my body (unless it kills me first in the process).

Amen to that. Our office uses dual-linked LCDs in our workstations, due to the huge amount of tools that we use when dealing with customers. Now, if we were using dual-linked CRTs, then i'd probably be glowing in the dark at this point.
