Happy Birthday Lunar, I would just like to say that you're the sanest female member to ever join our ranks, and for that you deserve cookies. I hope this message reaches you wherever you are and whatever you're doing.

Rant: The whole compound of the Banko Sentral ng Pilipinas and the Department of Finance does not have any electricity due to a malfunctioned power transformer in the compound which burned much of the electric wires connected to it, leaving the whole compound without electricity for at least a week or two until they're done with repairs. In the confusion that surrounded yesterday (there was no such announcement or ANY sort of contingency plan in the event of such an emergency), we were stuck in the office not knowing what to do, and with our superiors just telling us that we're on stand by until further notice (They were in a meeting outside the compound, we stayed there without power until 2pm, and I arrive for work at 7:30am so you can imagine the amount of boredom). The recent typhoon didn't help either

Basically, all operations just ceased since Saturday (when the transformer malfunctioned). While I've been reassigned to a temporary location somewhere in Makati, close to my home, the parking fee is a total bitch and is easily digging through my wallet (Some of you might know me and aversion to pay-for-parking schemes), making the transfer a mixed blessing. At the moment, there is still confusion on who's assigned to where, so I might get reassigned somewhere else within this time until they're done with repairs to our office.

Tried out for the intrams(not really sure what intrams means XD; ) in school. Well, choices are volleyball,badminton,table tennis and chess.

I got in for chess XD
its 2 representatives per batch/year

so I'm with another freshman/batchmate(I don't know who coz I had to leave then..) against the other 3 levels in chess o____o...(slightly good news, most people don't care/watch the chess matches)

@ Grim and TS: How about Friday? I'm currently still getting used to the place especially because our files are still being transferred from our old office and everyone (myself included) still hasn't settled down to our new temporary office environment, so things are still currently moving around.

Since TS's sched is pretty different from normal working hours (2pm-10/11pm IIRC), I can meet TS for lunch in G4 (close to the Ayala MRT station, and on the way to your work I presume IF you can get a cab/jeep/FX to RCBC from Glorieta) if he's willing to go there early. Grim, after work sounds fine with me. I get off work at 4:30pm and I'm willing to kill some time in G4 or Greenbelt till you're free. Do you know any place near by that's good (Besides the ones in Greenbelt :p)? Maybe we can invite others in the area like Jake or who else is working in Makati.

How does that sound?

@ Haywire: Do they screen candidates or participants in intrams there? It used to be that anyone who was just willing to participate was allowed to join in whatever sport they like (at least in my high school).
