Here's a pretty straightforward OB AC. Dual rifles for mid-range pressure. SATYROS+RM3 for close-range destruction and OB Jousting. A blade is hangered just in case.

This is definitely not top-tier, but I'm having a lot of fun using it, especially for practicing OB.

EDIT: I changed R2 to R3 since I have hangered weapons anyway.

on a side note... checked out the tournament venue. DT was very hospitable... he also plays a very mean King and Lee.

Pretty good build. It's light, it's fast, and it has enough energy surplus. Always a must when OBing.

Actually the only change I'd recommend is SL -> FL arms, for better defense overall. I know that they're drainier, but you've got around 3000 extra to spare. An additional 200+ drain wouldn't hurt that much. For me, as long as the surplus is above 2000, it's workable.

Actually this used to have the FL arms. I just switched to the SL for better drain, like you said, as well as cosmetic reasons. :tongue:

That's a video of Purple Haze in action.

Recently, I switched the /UL core with the UL2... I know doing so detracts from the whole "Purple" theme, but it can't be helped. UL2's OB is a lot easier to handle and it makes this AC a lot more competitive thanks to the stat buffs.

Nice Solid design, I never thought that dual rifles had that much kill power until recently and now I feel bad for not making a dual rifle AC sooner lol.

I have no problems with it, looks similar to one of my ACs frame wise.

Haha I love dual rifles but they're a little lacking in that you have to totally use death-from-above maneuvers in order to deal a lot of damage without getting damaged too much in the process because they aren't as accurate as I'd like them to be at mid-range...

And that inaccuracy of rifles totally shows in how I almost always run them out while playing this AC... <_< So yeah, I have to milk SATYROS + RM3 for all they're worth if I don't wanna have to end up trying to blade enemy... and I don't want that!

Yea, I get you DFA tactics are always fun when implimented in the right way and with dual rifles, you gotta milk that to death or its certain death, unless you wanna cheese and use a high armored, high defense rusher...but i know you wont do that...right?

Yeah, DFA is definitely needed, and that's why if you saw in the video, I was constantly using OB-slide-jump to initiate the DFA maneuver.

Hahah high armor, high defense isn't my style. That's the specialty of Leperman and Wanzerfreak. I'm a total middleweight man.
