How come we haven't made a thread about this game yet?

Yes, it really, truly rocks. You have to have the guitar controller to get the full experience though, it's not as fun when you're just playing with the regular PlayStation2/Xbox360 controllers.

The series is at 3 right now, with the games being as follows: 1, 2, 2: Rocks the 80s, and 3: Legends of Rock. The song selection for every game is quite strong, though I believe 1 and 2 are the best. Graphics you won't really care about, but they're enough eye candy nevertheless.

Hit notes at the appropriate time, or not. Either way, with a group, laughter ensues. It's the perfect game for our meets!

Yeah, I really enjoyed it and I do recommend the guitar controller for the full experience. If interested I'd recommend Guitar Freaks if you're more into the J-pop/rock done by Konami's in-house artists and some Japanese mainstream artists. Surprise, the GH controller is also compatible with the GF games provided there are slight controller adjustments.

Heh, I'll bring the controller on the next event on Feb 2 just so we can have fun (works only on GH1 and the Guitar Freaks games though). If anyone has a 2nd GH controller, maybe we can play together.

This kid is my god. He did it on EXPERT, while I get pwned by Through the Fire and Flames on HARD.

Christ, that kid's on the level of the best GF players I've seen on the arcade and prolly even better than most of them.
