Can't wait for .hack to come out!! I don't think anyone else here is excited though, except for maybe Fox
Speed Racer looks like a cartoon, which is expected. Think they'll be able to pull it off?

I haven't played .Hack, but the trailer for the movies look real good. Speed Racer.. Well, I dunno what to say of it.. At least they got Racer X there. Haha.

Wow Speed Racer is just bordering on ridiculous.
About .Hack: Is this a straight-to-home-video release? Because I highly doubt that this'll make any money on the big screen.

Yup, it's going straight to video. I doubt it'll make any money too if they released it for cinemas because .hack GU requires a knowledge of .hack roots AND .hack sign AND the first set of .hack games.
In other words, it's as difficult to familiarize oneself with as AC's controls.

Speed Racer? Hmmm, dunno about that. Never was much of a fan of it before.
But .hack... Having been a fan of the.hack series (albeit since only last year) i will be getting a copy once i locate one. Although i haven't found any info about this just yet. Any links?
Judging from the trailer, it'll be comprising the three G.U. games with some scenes from Roots as well. Some of the parts did seem to be from the ingame cutscenes so i guess there 'll be some obvious spoilers. However, that scene with Haseo going up against the 100 PKers (and that idiot Negimaru) did drop my jaw immediately.
And that one with Skeith going up against Innis...
And the remixed version of "Yasashii Ryoute"...
Well, let's just say i'm getting rather impatient right now. Sforzando, you have no idea how happy you have just made me. Dude, you definitely are a boon to the Republic!
EDIT - January 25 is the release date in Japan! So close yet so far away!

Dot hack wikia is probably the best source on the net for information on anything .hack
Can't wait to see Alkaid, Aina (Ovan's sister) and Atoli (wow all A), and I wonder if they'll show any of the players' real world selves
So far, they only showed a little bit on Shino in Salvador Aihara's show.

This movie was AWESOME, and the people which criticized it need to be slapped upside the head. Take shroom tea before/while watching and you'll be in heaven. If you can't get shrooms, get drunk.

If I need to be drunk to appreciate a movie, then it's not worth watching. Might as well just get drunk without the movie. I'll keep my cash, thank you very much.
I'm sure that the movie's colorful effects will go great with hallucinogens though!

Alcohol slows brain function, making the pretty formerly headache inducing colors stay longer.
If you want color + hallucinogens the cheap way, spin a pinwheel in front of your face. I do that sometimes.
Seriously though, the movie has its own merits in the artistic design and visual sense. It's not total crap.
