Macross VF-X2

Hey, do any of you guys play it? I was just wondering. This is one of my most favorite PSX games when I was a child.

I played both VF-X 1 and 2.

2 was definitely better in every aspect.

I love this game to bits, particularly because I'm a Macross nut.

VF-17 was the real way to go in VF-X2. Sure it didn't have the pin-point barrier system of the 19 and the 22... Sure it didn't go as fast. But so what? The 17 had the aiming laser and the hyper bazooka!

edit: The Milky Dolls (yeah, kinky name) were probably the only real upside to VF-X1

The Monster rocked, it even transformed! Too bad you can only use it on 1 mission IIRC.

You might also be interested in the Macross title on the PS2 which allowed you to play both the movie and the TV series scenario.

Nice, I want to post some gameplays too, but the recording feature in my emulator doesn't work well. Whenever I record it, the frame's too slow.

Wait, you could use it two times.
One dogfight (space venue) mission and one land mission.
The MONSTER rocks LOLOLOLOLOL it has the mighty Rail Gun!




I forgot the other one, it actually has a Nuclear Missile. It was funny to use I got killed using the Nukes when I killed the enemy with it in point blank range.

Hahah hassle sa VF-X2. I didn't know na pwede palang hindi mo patayin yung teacher mo. Bad ending tuloy nakita ko. And I never got to see the good ending. Not much you can do when you can't understand what they're saying hahaha

Anyway, I played the first one, but I never really got into it. I might pick it up again though, but I've never really been a huge fan of mecha in anime.

Been a long time since i played this but i remember fighting a girl in a red Valyrie before fighting a rather familiar-looking face in an Excalibur. Which ending did i get.

that was the bad ending boss the good ending is when you fight your least favored co-pilot and where your part the red valkyrie girl's team ... anyway anyway it sucks **spoiler alert ... well maybe**that your mentor dies in the good ending too.

your supposed to bomb a SDF copy of the enemy ( who they are I don't remember) ... you don't fight the SDF copy but you fight a damn lot of unmanned super fighters from macross pluss the movie...
