I feel that my name crossed your mind when you wrote that part up...lol

c'mon Sis dont begin thinking lowly of me, I thought they would finally do "it" because they have been together that long and their relationship has grown leaps and bounds. We all know what Jaden said in the chapter about love and sex, but I thought they would eventually admit their love for one another (since it was a long enough chapter for that to transpire) and then ultimately do it at the end, but that did not happen.

I'm going to give you guys a bit of a spoiler here. It's still going to be a long way into Book 1 before they finally say those words to each other. That's going to be part of the climax of this book.

Actually, one of them will admit their feelings a bit sooner but things will start to go downhill when that happens, setting the scene for something really, really unexpected.

Alright, that'll be enough for now. I'll leave you guys to ponder what i've said.

Its a few days past the stupid deadline i set for it but finally, Chapter Nineteen is up. I think its safe to say that the holidays pretty much got in the way of its completion. I did intend to post it last night but a power failure threw a monkey wrench in my plans.

Sorry but i forgot to thank you guys for the comments about the last few chapters. I tend to do that sometimes. Please accept my apologies.

Anyway, to make up for the time the fic was inactive, i lengthened this chapter, and brought something back. Something that's been missing since the second chapter plus one unexpected baddie from the game. Also, forgive the amount of WAFF in this chapter but i did write those parts during Christmas day so i wanted things to be happy.

I'm referring to those characters because they still have a part to play in Book1. Specifically, the deceased members of the Knights team killed in Last Stand, they still can help from beyond the grave, as well as a certain woman from Chapter Fourteen. All will be explained come Chapter 30.

I am planning on doing a follow-up for "Fireflies", this time set during the Battle for Sara Base on Mars. Yeah, the one where Rick rescues Lisa from the base's self-destruct. I do hafta finish Book1 first before i begin other works.

Wow...that chapter was beyone lengthy lol but I did enjoy it

I didnt expect things to turn out the way they did turn out but atleast everything is ok in the world with them now.

The part about the stars and the dinner and what not was cool, nice to get a little school lesson and a good story out of it at the same time lol, and finding the AC was pretty cool as well.

We got a pulverizer in the story now eh? I sense there's to be some life saving in the near future.

I was just messing with her and I understand your stand on sex and love (I thought I stated something about that in my previous post) and everyone is entitled to their views, I wasnt questioning them.

Wow....all I can say is wow. One unbelievably long chapter and everything was just great.

Nice going on how you resolved last chapter's cliffhanger. I may be wrong but I think there were some unspoken lines when they entered the room after opening up to each other, specifically that part where Hitomi said she wanted to find out what love is, then Jaden replies that they'll find out together: there was something there. It may not be visible but it was there.

Their dinner under the stars and the ensuing dialogue was both educational and heartwarming. It was simply the most romantic interaction between the two in the entire fic so far. I could just picture them sitting there and could almost hear "Eyes on Me" from FF8 playing in the background.

This chapter is now one of my favorites, along with 7 and 11. I can't wait to see how the hero saves the girl again in the next chapter.

Thanks for the comments, guys. Sorry that i haven't updated in over a week but it seems that you can't really have time for yourself during the holidays.

I do have a lot of new fic ideas. One involves Zinaida's experiences during the Internecine War, which is sort of an extension of Komm Susser Tod. Another which concerns Ghost (my Raven/the player character from LR), as he struggles to elude the other Ravens who are bent on collecting the bounty on his head. A sidefic to Wings from Jaden and Hitomi's perspectives, plus another first-person-POV fic, cataloguing Evangel's final battle against the Airborne Pulverizer.

So many ideas, so little motivation to get started. I'm not giving up on Wings though, those other fics will be gradually churned out over the course of 2007, assuming i'm still active during the entirety of the year.

I'll take some time off from writing for a few days. I still have quite a few novels to read so i'll be recharging the inspiration engine before getting back to the fic.

Hopefully, i'll have Chapter Twenty up by next week, or earlier. Yeah,i thought i'd get it up by New Year but i was too busy enjoying myself.

If you want, i can send you the chapters that you haven't read through email. That's what i've been doing with my pre-reader. Just tell me what chapters you need.

This idiot would like to apologize for the sloth i've been showing in not posting the next installment. Sorry guys, but it seems that i've hit an all-time low in the delays between chapters. I've noticed that my fight scenes all seem a bit rushed and i've been trying to remedy that by adding more detail and stretching things out.

Things is, i'm trying to expand the battle in Chapter Twenty to over four pages but so far i've gotten no such luck. I'm pretty annoyed at the lack of productivity, so much that i've already started work on Chapters Twenty-one and Twenty-two so that they can come out as fast as possible

I promise that the next chapter will be up within the week, with the next two ones following quickly. Again, my apologies...

Oh yeah, I'm currently putting the finishing touches on Chapter Twenty, and i've already sent the completed parts to my pre-reader. As soon as i get feedback from him, i'll post it immediately, maybe as soon as tonight or tomorrow morning.

Nah, it ain't Necron. A cousin of mine from Paranaque is serving as my beta guy. He's not really into mecha and he only agreed to do the pre-reading for "Wings" because he's a sucker for mushy stuff. Pretty much like you.

Begging your forgiveness but i'm gonna hafta delay posting Chapter Twenty for a couple of days. It's done but i read it again and i'm not too happy about some parts so i'll be redoing several sections of that chapter. Don't worry because Chapters Twenty-one and Twenty-two are already done. They'll all be up as soon as my cousin is done going over them.

I won't object to this one coz I really was dissapointed at those last words. Hey, don't get me wrong, characters in fanfics usually admit their love for each other after sex and I was expecting them to say the words afterwards, not "I'm sorry, I can't".

Okay, chap.20 was great. Kudos to you for keeping Jaden's skin intact. I expected Hitomi to beat him to a bloody pulp after the rejection. Haha, at least they got through that episode without Jaden getting his ass handed to him by the redhead.

Nice bit about the constellations by the way. Way cool!

Damn, it's almost a month ever since the last installment. So how will the upcoming AC vs Pulverizer fight turn out? It's about time we got some heavy-metal action in this fic again. The romance is good but please don't forget that this is an AC fanfic, so make the next chapter a good one.
