Rant:
Microsoft is still trying to install useless updates on my ancient XP machine despite of the fact that they have announced that they are not going to support the system anymore... It would also help if the updates actually works (i.e. not failing to install 100% of the time)
Rave:
The sun seems to be shifting to the south, signaling the end of summer. Good as the semester has only four weeks left, bad as I will not have time to design more ACs in autumn.

Rant:
The fact that I'm getting teased by some of my companions because I did a mech (which they couldn't, hence telling me in an indirect manner on how arrogant I am for showing off) for my 2DANIM is beginning to piss me off. Even going as far as intentionally making the whole class hear their "funny" ear-piercingly annoying jokes loud during 2-D animation at times.
I wanted to draw and make a fucking mech as my character because I find it cool, and I generally like robots. None of them couldn't even understand what the fuck does "I like mecha" or "trip ko yung ganito eh" mean.
If the piss me off any further, I'll cut them off.

Don't take shit, Goat. Either be smug or unassuming about it. Being affected by it just means that what they're doing is working.

Yeah, but what bugs me is that they're from my original circle of friends since I transfered there. So I've been caught out by surprise that they'd turn out to be annoying little shitbags.
Of course, they're not exactly assholes like doing it for the lulz; they're insecure attention whores who lack common sense.
Well at least I've got my stuff almost done though.

Same rule on the net applies to this scenario: Don't feed the trolls.
The way you say it, they're the only guys in class who find their own jokes funny. I say ignore them, keep working, and let them make complete retards of themselves when they realize people are not laughing with them, but at them, for being such obnoxious douchebags.

Goat, just to clarify a couple of details.
1. Where are you studying?
2. Quote:I wanted to draw and make a fucking mech as my character because I find it cool, and I generally like robots. None of them couldn't even understand what the fuck does "I like mecha" or "trip ko yung ganito eh" mean.
Do you mean they don't quite get your hobby, or they literally have near-zero verbal comprehension skills?
3. Quote:on how arrogant I am for showing off
Dude, imho, every small achievement in an art you love is reason enough to be proud. Just don't let it go to your head. People who put down a friend's achievements just because they're jealous either need to do a lot of growing up, or are not friends. They're potential heavy bags

late Rant: I had a Philosophy class where my teacher is also my karate sensei and he was talking about toy story 3 WITHOUT SPOILING it, and then this eager gay dude name "Mr. Gomez", tries to be "pacute" sa prof and ends up almost spoiling me saying that someone died in the end of the story. i feel like punching this SOB, and the way he speaks is so fucking annoying too.
Rave: at least we watch welcome to the NHK as part of our lesson :3, i just want to finish the series of avoid getting a possible "being spoiled" by fucking MISTER GOMEZ

MISTER GOMEZ.
He'll fuck your story up for realz.
Rant: Why do I have to take all of the useless shit from our old place? Our new place is already wtfgoddamnit cramped, and I don't even have a decent spot for my PC. BTW all that useless crap is stuff that no one uses. Ever. Fuck hoarding -_-
*sigh*

A few edits, but what twin skies said.
MY take? if a so called "friend" can't seem to accept who you are, in this case being an otaku or geek, then I say ditch em'. They're just gonna pull you down each and every time you do something, and it's because they can't reach your level. (like people who can't understand why we speak english)

@ TS:
Quite surprisingly, my school also has its share of own close-mindedness even if it's an art school. I study at CSB, Mr. Yang.
Also, they insist that I tend to do the harder stuff to "show off" because I can just do a human or any spongebob-esque character. WTF.
@ Mark:
If you put it that way, yes. They tend to criticize people who speak english for some reason, hence I don't usually speak it with them.
I'll do a wait-and-see approach later. I'm all set on cutting off the link anyway.

What? show off? okay, fuck them. lol filipinos do this all the time. trying to bring others down just because they do something hard that could turn out to be better than what they could come up with. True friends would even try to boost you up. But in most cases here, people in the philippines (regardless of ethnicity) will tend to try to pull you down by either making fun of your work or you. What a country, really.

So why listen to them? You're obviously having fun, and you can handle the extra pressure. Fuck what they think - they're not the ones who are going to grade your work, are they?
