Whoa, now that's something we don't have around these parts.
I think the closest thing we had to that one was the ashfall in the early '90s after Pinatubo blew her top.

I was really hoping to get photos of the city with the red sky but it wasn't there anymore when I arrived. Maybe it was just the sunrise that made it glow red. Later in the afternoon were having blue skies again.
 Pinatubo was much worse than this.
