Hi... Nineball can do that because he is OP-I... meaning it's sort of a cheat... and it's not regularly available for players unless they hack their game...

EO= Exit orbit... these are like guns that come out of your core when you activate it... they are either solid or energy based.

OB= Overboost... it's part of a core... it's like Nitro for cars... but this one is for ACs...(picture fast and the furious...)

Hmmm how to get better... i think you were using type B controls... either A: finish the game... or B: come to one of our get togethers... the latter being better because you can ask all the questions you want...

huhuhu maybe i need to finish the game, because currently I am working here in Dubai, so I need to go to choice A and ask a lot of question from you and the other pro's as well..

what FCS have a big sight like a big square so that it will be easy to hit a enemy.

oh umm try to switch your controls to type b controls in the controller options of the came... i think they are more friendly for you.

umm you've got to select a core that has Overboost... it's usually seen there as what kind of core type... OB, Standard or EO...

Hmm you could try out my other ACs which is posted in the garage section of the forums... here is a link... <a href='http://' target='_blank'>Zigg's Garage</a> also try out the other designs posted here... you could re learn all the stuff you did before... and maybe pick up some other techniques along the way. hope this helps...

Actually, it's Exceed Orbit.

dantes, what you need to do to get back in the groove is to start playing around with the standard cores first. That means no EO and OB yet. Once you've gotten comfortable with boosting and managing your energy bar, then try OBing. Since your reserves drain much much faster when using this function, all that practice from boost hopping around should prove to be valuable.

Some good OB cores are:
840/UL
UL2
Eos
Helios
Atlas (especially for beginners)

Keep in mind your heat on these though. Usually the Ananda radiator can handle most anything in Last Raven, they just have to be paired with a good generator and booster. Some good generator + booster combos include:
G91 + Vulture2
Lotus + Vulture2
Lotus + B81
Fudoh + Gull

About your lockbox, to have a square one, try Volute. It may not be the largest one you have, but it has good depth (range) to it. If you want a wider, bigger box, then F73H is the way to go, especially when you're dual gunning. If you really want something huge though, try the Cowry when equipping the Pixie3 machinegun on the right and an HP handgun on the left.

does it have a special button or is it like when you use your booster you boost faster that the ordinary core?

there is a button to activate the overboost... there is an initial charge up before going into OB... you also have to consider that the AC you make may heat up too much because of the OB...

Exceed Orbits are strong weapons... i would recommend the E2 solid core or the Uranus energy core if you want an EO core AC... but i prefer OB cores or hanger cores... or OB with hanger cores...

It has a button assigned to it. The default setting is R3.

yey look at this my very 1st AC and it is using the OB but the problem is it keeps on overheating me... huhuhu now im wandering if when to use the OB..

the AC focuses mainly on the rifle when fighting a battle..
yet i am having a problem now on the enemy number 25 and 26 on the VR Mission.. ggrrr i cant defeat them

can someone give me a technique how to deafeat a lightweight who moves very fast and keep on hovering at your top..

replace the sniper rifle with the HP handgun, along with using the 73H FCS because that will make your lockbox bigger thusly making it easier to keep a lock on the faster opponent. Put a 69H handgun in your hangers because the Atlas can hold hangered weapons

Change your legs as well. The S3 legs are borderline heavyweight which will do nothing but slow you down. Dingo1, Dingo2, Cougar2 are all fast legs to help you out and you should be able to carry the load.

Downgrade your Radar to the standard one. Only use the Siren4 for missions with high ECMs, other than that the standard RA should get the job done.

Get rid of the GL for missiles because OBing with cannons is very difficult for even the most advanced pilots. Nypmhe+RM3 will fit on here.

A full parts list will help ultimately tho.
