A dead thread, but my 2 cents.
AA would've been perfect if it had an Arena.
God I miss those napalm missiles... I, want, my FREAKING NAPALM MISSILES!!!
Otherwise, LR. It has that really gritty feel with Heat/Energy Mechanics, plus I've wished for Left Arm Guns, and Rockets for ever. Nice little utility weapons for mission mode that don't need a lock to fire and don't require a wave blade to use at range. Great replacement for a laser blade if you don't mind the bump in the ammo bill.
Then Silent Line, my only real gripe is the ridiculous S Rank requirements and the shittiest protect missions in the series (I'm looking at you Rooftop Defense!)
Otherwise, solid games all of them. I didn't get much Multi-Player with limited friends, all with limited patience.
That and I bought the Gamecube instead of the PS2. Never said Nintendo again... ever.
My fetish for Ground Torpedoes might have biased this list too... that and Nine-Breaker is mostly a boot-camp, and I feel the best training is on the battlefield with opponents that shoot back.

You want a war? You got one, but you might not be so happy you did.
