-user-updated flood water level map thing. not just main roads and stuff. this can include neighborhoods, subdivisions etc. can help in coordinating school based relief operations.
-carpool system organizer thing (this was an actual project from another country, saw it on net25). students w/ cars can share their routes and other students can join which carpools pass by their route. i think the login info is tied to student records to ensure security.
-pakopya/paturo.net social network kind of thing geared for pairing up students willing to tutor others with those looking for help academically. users can also form study groups, as well as comment on which profs are good for which subjects, test types he/she gives out and other important information.
-student library. system where users can list books and similar resources they can lend out or sell to other students. users can also search the database to find who they can borrow books and resources from.
-dutdutan!! users can poke each other like in facebook but with a counter recording how long they have been poking each other. longer runs reward players with stuff to decorate their customizable avatars. users can also band together for raids against bosses to poke it to death and reap epic loot.
