Game intros, the best, the worst, go ahead post and share.
Wipeout 2048:
Has a really nice style depicting automobile racing through the years, leading to the fictional setting of the game.
Onimusha 3:
Really nice and long opening chock full of action sequences:
Ace Combat 3 (JP)
A shame the entirety of the game wasn't ported over in English. The awesome intro sequence was left out as a consequence.
Resident Evil 3
One of the early Zombie Apocalypse rendered videos I know of. Action starts somewhere before the first minute.

Dark medieval fantasy opening. Really well made, if only the game were as good
