LR: is max leg weight really something you shouldn't go over?

I remember asking Nerese(Serene) to make me a biped for one of the PACTs that I played in, I never even got to drop the stuff that I had to drop

The whole point of that was, unload the shots, drop the gun, go high speed. I didn't even know how to drop weapons (and I still don't, even now )

I guess it's okay to go slightly overweight if you can land your shots well, then drop the extra weight and play on.
