HOW THE HELL DO YOU EVEN TALK TO PEOPLE LIKE THAT DDD:

If I may make a suggestion...although this will admittedly hurt like hell:

Hunker down, and study the material she wants both of you to watch. At the very least, if you're going to criticize what she watches, do it from an objective standpoint.

If she takes you to a chick flick, just endure the whole thing, and try to pinpoint what aspects of it that could use improvement. Was a scene too focused on one moment? Was the camera angle off? Could the wording of the love confessions used more figurative language, or lacked subtlety? That sort of thing.

Come off as a concerned viewer who thinks that the film might have worked, given certain tweaks, and not as a hateful ranter. If you're going demolish the film, may as well make it a surgical strike
