Do you mean they don't quite get your hobby, or they literally have near-zero verbal comprehension skills?

Dude, imho, every small achievement in an art you love is reason enough to be proud. Just don't let it go to your head. People who put down a friend's achievements just because they're jealous either need to do a lot of growing up, or are not friends. They're potential heavy bags
