@Thanks
When it comes to shoes, I put everything into function, since I really, really need a pair that lasts.
I've been a big fan of Adidas shoes for a while now. It started when I bought a discount pair of their running shoes two years ago. I used those same pair for all my roadwork and training, and aside from some scuffing and a bit of thinning on the rubber, they're still working.
Wish that I could say with the same with my Nikes - the last pair of shoes I got from them was literally falling apart after only about 1 1/2 years of use
Call it bad luck, but I've had a bias for Adidas since then.
Not to mention their runners are REALLY light - they don't absorb shock as well, but they're well-ventilated, and I can wear them for hours without getting sore feet. My only gripe is that they look bland compared to other shoes.
